F or SC / ST/EXSM /PwBD cand idat es, minimum qual ify ing marks shall be 30% (aft e r providing 10 % rela x ation) against the reserved post s only. 5) Candidates, who secure minimum q ualify ing ma rks in the Written Test, shall be shortlisted for Skill/ Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) in the rat io o f 1 : 5 i.e. first 5 cand idates with the highest score in wr itten test shall b e called for SPPT for one vacancy. 6) If there is a tie of scores i n writ ten te st marks, then all candidates with th e same score shall be short - liste d for S P PT. 7) In cas e wh ere number of ca ndi date s who qualify in Writte n Test are l ess than t h e requ i red rati o, all the candid ates who have scored minimum qualifying marks in Wri tten Test will be shortlisted for SPPT. 8) The documents sh all be checked for o nly t h ose candidates wh o qu ali f y in the Wri tte n Te st and are shortlisted f or SPPT, on the day o f SPPT. O nly tho se candidates sha ll be allowed to appear in SPPT whose do cument s are found in order. 9) If all shortlisted candidates are found ineligible before th e SPP T stage on account of not meeting the eli gibi lity criteria of qualif i cation, age etc., the n next 5 candida tes who have qual ified in the Written Exam in the order o f meri t, sha ll be called for the SPPT, as available. If less than 5 qualified candidate s are available, then a s ma ny a vailable sha ll be c alled for SPPT. If ther e is a tie o f score fo r the 5 t h ranked person, then all such qualified candidates shall be call ed who are t ied on that score, even if it exceeds the number of cand idates from 5. 10) If a fter t he SPPT all candi date s w h o have appea red in the SPPT are found to b e UN FIT, the n the next 5 cand i dates as available, who h ave qualified in the written Test as per the o rder o f merit , shall be called for the SPPT to fill up the pos t. If less than 5 qu alifi e d candidates are avai lab l e, then as m any ava ilable shall be called f or SPPT. If there is a tie o f score f or the 5 th rank p osition , then all such qualified candida tes sh all be called who are tied on that score, even if it exceeds t he number of candida tes f r om 5. 11) If only on e ca ndi d ate qualifie s i n th e SPPT and he/she does n ot join aft er issuanc e of of f er of ap pointment, then n ext 5 candidates as available who qualif ied in the W ritten Test as per the order of merit , shall be called f or SPPT to fill up t he po s t. If less than 5 qu ali f ied candidat es are available, then as many available s hall be ca l led fo r SPPT. I f the re is a tie of score for the 5 th position , then all such qualif ied candidates shall be called who are tied on that scor e, even if it exceed s the number of candida tes fro m 5. 9.0 WRITTE N T EST MODALITY : 1) Written Test shall be he ld tentati v ely on 27 .0 3 .2022 (Sunday) 2) Writt en Test shall be of Objective Type Mult iple C hoice Questions (MCQ’s) consisting of 4 options with one corre ct option. Candidate has t o choose the corre ct o p ti o n. 3) There sha ll be 100 que stions in the Wr i tten Test a nd t otal ma r ks sha l l be 100 . Each correct an swer shall carry 1 mark. 4) For the post of Eng ineeri n g Assistants, out of 100 objective type questions, 75 q uestions shall be fr om th e concerned enginee ring di s cipline of D ipl oma level and 25 questions on General Aptitude an d Reaso n ing, Gen eral English , Num erical Aptitude and General Knowledge e tc. 5) Fo r the post of Technical Attendants, out of 100 objective type questions, 7 5 questi ons s h all be on Technica l di s ci p line from Ge ner al Science and on basic IT I trades lik e Motor Mec h anic, E lectrica l, and Fitter etc . The remaining 25 questions will be as ked on Gener al Aptitude and Reasoning, General English , Numerical Ap titude and General K nowle d ge 6) There shall be no neg a tive marking fo r w rong answe rs 7) Duration o f Writ ten T est shall b e of 90 minut es. 8) Duration of Writ ten Test for PwBD candidates for posts reserv ed for them shall be of 120 minutes. ( including extra Compensatory Time ) Page 6 o f 10 10.0 SKILL/P R OFICENCY/PHYSICAL TE ST (S P PT) MODALI TY 1) In SP PT, the t echnical skill / profi ciency /physical a bility to h andl e/operate the t ools / equipments of the respective engineering disci pline of the shortlisted candidates shall be assessed. 2) F inal Merit List shall be p repared based on W ri tten T est marks onl y of those candidates who ar e declared F IT in SPPT. 3) In th e fin al m erit list for s election, if written test marks of more than on e cand idate is same, t hen the candidate older in ag e shall be given preference in the m e rit list. In case if the a ge is also id entic al, then the candidate w ith the hig her percent a ge of m arks in the induction l evel qualification shall be preferred. 11.0 DISAB ILIT Y CERTIFICATE 1) Perso ns with benchmark Disabilitie s having only those disabilities a s mentioned in the ta bl e in t he second pag e o f this notification wit h minimum 40 % disability , shall b e co nsid ered as a PwBD candidate for this recruitment process as per the R ights of Persons w ith Disabilities Act 2016, fo r the posts reserved for them and t he applicable relaxa ti ons/c o ncessions sha ll be available to them. 2) The certif icate of disa b ility s houl d be in terms of Ru le 18(1) & 20 of the Rights of Persons with D isab il ities Rules, 2017 in the prescribed format (For m V/Form VI/Form VII).
