AMA RECAP MATICN EWS & CREO E NGI N E A nother special cross-chain ama after the big success of past ones! Let's start w ith an introduction to you and your team! W hat past experiences you all have got if any? My name is Javier Tan, CEO and co-founder of Creo Engine. I came from a simple family in Medan; I have ten plus years of experience as a fi nancial consultant and advisor. I have loved to play games since I w as about seven years old. I play mostly RPG and strategic games. I w as exposed to the crypto space in 2017 and did a little bit of this and that in crypto investment before planning to co-found Creo Engine. Hello! I’m Darrel. CTO and co-founder of Creo Engine. I started to make video games w hen I w as 16. Back then, it w as all about making indie games and posting them on Internet forums, and in early 2021, I assembled a small dev team and made a game called 'The Revenant Prince,' w hich you can do w nload on Steam. A nd right no w , I am in charge of Creo Engine game development and co-founding the company. W hy did you choose this name/topic, is there any backup history? The w ord "Creo" from Creo Engine is taken from the Latin w ord creo, w hich means 'to create.' It also means 'to believe' in Spanish. In essence, Creo Engine aims to create the best crypto gaming platform by providing users w orld w ide w ith high-quality video games w ith rich visuals and sound, an essential play-to-earn system, and a safe and secure marketplace for users to buy and sell digital assets utilizing a blockchain platform. For w hom didn’t join the IDO, w hat is Creo Engine? Please introduce the project to us! Creo Engine is a gaming platform dedicated to game developers w orld w ide to establish their games; developers can join the Creo Engine platform and utilize its ecosystem that contains many features and user base. The games under the Creo Engine ecosystem are all intert w ined, and players can use assets from one game to another. This Interchangeability feature is Creo Engine's core feature, w hich w e believe sets us apart from other gaming platforms. Creo Engine also built an in-house studio w ith artists, ITs, programmers, and many other experts to develop games. Creo Engine aims to develop four games in three years. W hich chains are you currently in? Is there any plan to support ne w ones? W e are currently operating on the BSC chain but w e are keenly attempting or at least connecting w ith various popular chains Do you have in plan also to join us on polygon? Yes! W e truly believe if w e publish or put our second game or third game on another chain, this w ill sho w case the versatility of our platform. W e are very much keen on testing these boundaries, especially w hen interoperating these games. Interoperating games across di ff erent chains is an ambitious feat, but w hen done right, w e'll have versatile ecosystems w hich in the end is w hat w e really w ant. A uni fi ed metaverse that isn't chain biased. Talking about your core, w hich are the main use cases of $CREO? There are many utilities of the $CREO token: 1. Governance token in our Ecosystem A ll games that run under the Creo Engine platform w ill only use one game token; the CREO token. 2. Token Staking program to earn re w ards Users/gamers that stake their Creo tokens w ill receive Creo tokens as re w ards. 3. Gas fees for marketplace transaction A ll transactions in the marketplace w ill be charged w ith a small amount of CREO token as transaction fees. 4. In-game and marketplace transactions A ll transactions occurred in the marketplace use the CREO token. 5. Liquidity Creo Tokens w ill also be used as liquidity in exchanges. 6. Staking for Developers Game developers are required to stake a certain amount of CREO tokens before joining the ecosystem. 7. Incubation Program Creo Engine w ill use the Creo token in the project incubation program. 8. Re w ards Creo Engine w ill occasionally give a w ay Creo tokens in promotional events as a re w ard. W hat is the CreoEngine Marketplace and A sset Interchangeability? Most NFTs and in-game A ssets are only functional in one game and incompatible in others. W e think if essential A ssets/NFTs in the gaming w orld, such as characters, w eapons, and miscellaneous items, are usable in more than one game. Their value w ill progressively increase, hence w hy Creo Engine implemented an interchangeability feature across all games under its ecosystem, allo w ing players to transfer and utilize their NFTs from one game to another. W e believe this feature is w hat sets us apart from other platforms. In terms of economical design, our marketplace is able to seamlessly detect w here an item can be used across potentially hundreds of games across one uni fi ed platform, w ith that in mind, w e believe demand for certain commodities ought to be determined across multiple game titles and not just one, this dynamic is once more key in ensuring anyone w ith good game design and practices can one day set the economical environment belo w our platform. A lso its w orth nothing - this has many implications and honestly, it’s quite interesting - w e see a future w here players and their net w orth in the metaverse w ill be determined by. Their assets and not just w hat their assets are but ho w usable their assets are across di ff erent games or features. W ill also the marketplace be multichain? De fi nitely! A s a gaming platform, w e'll employ games from w ithin many net w orks in the future. Speaking about your fi rst game, w ould you like to tell us more about Evermore Knights? Evermore Knights is a JRPG game featuring unique heroes and w eapons as NFTs; players can invest and summon stronger NFT fi ghters, w eapons, and equipment to enhance their fi ghter units. Each fi ghter has health, strength, intelligence, speed, and luck stats determined randomly during the summoning. W eapons also have the same attributes as the fi ghters, and they range from bo w s, s w ords, sta ff s, and shields. Fighter and w eapon NFTs can be combined to summon a higher level and more robust items. Players can customize their fi ghters and w eapons, complete missions, battle in PVP, and clear dungeons to earn re w ards and in-game currency, w hich then can be used to summon more fi ghters, w eapons, and items. To add something more, w ould you like to explain us also the NFT concept? Ho w do they support your game economy? The ability for NFT to be interchanged, is the fact that the NFT can be used in other games thus adding further utility to the NFTs. A dded utility means added value, w hich means more customers w ill buy NFTs. This also means developers are able to monetize their games easily and have access to avenues of more monetization if NFTs are able to be exchanged and interoperate w ith many games, and that is just one of the values that interoperability brings. In w hich phase of the project are w e right no w ? Is already possible to play a demo? You can go to https:// w w w .evermoreknights.com to do w nload the Public Testnet A PK of Evermore Knights no w ! It is for A ndroidOS for no w , iOS version w ill too. The project is nearing it's fi nal stage of testing. Public testnet is starting, and the mainnet version next month. W ould you like also to share some gameplay of the actual version? Some of the features are still secrets, but you can try out our A PK. Furthermore, ho w is the revenue being generated for the project itself w hich can be used to fi nance future developments? W e are a fee-based platform, every transaction on the marketplace w ill be charged a small fee. Revenues w ill also come from in-game purchases. W e w ill also charge developers under our platform w ith a small cut. A ll the revenue w ill go to development, marketing, and buybacks Talking about the security side, the Clichè question that w e ask in all A M A s, are there any KYC or audit planned? Our smart contract is audited by Certik and A udit Rate Tech, A ll of us are KYC’d, w e are here for the longest term. W e w ant to stay on the playing fi eld as long as possible, and the development w on't just stop here! Talking about the future, as a recap, do you have any preliminary roadmap that you w ould like to share w ith us? The Public Testnet for Evermore Knights is no w open for everyone to try, please visit https://evermoreknights.com , our second product Slime Haven w ill undergo its pre- A lpha test later this month. W e also plan to release the Mainnet test of Evermore Knights sometime this month. The full version of Evermore Knights w ill be released in June 2022. Our marketplace is also pretty much done, w e are w aiting for the right time to launch. W e are hard at w ork at developing developer tools to onboard external developers to connect their games to our ecosystem, the next t w o months w ill be chalk full of surprises! Last, but not least, w hat do you think about the Binance Chain? Binance is a great chain, a ff ordable, good gas fees and accessible, good for projects w ith lo w er barriers to entry. Audi e nce Question If I don't have the NFT, can I still play the game? Yes, you can play our games for free to ‘test-drive’. Follo w ing the development of the A M A here, at the beginning you mentioned that the meaning of the name of the project (CREO) is closely related and rooted to its meaning in Latin and indeed in Spanish, so I found it very curious that for w hat reasons you have not thought of expanding your ecosystem also to local Spanish- speaking communities, and that on the contrary I did see that you have focused a lot on creating local communities, but giving high priority to the A sian continent, perhaps your project w ill be based only on this continent or you hope to be more inclusive in the near future? W e de fi nitely plan to become a huge global project! For our GTM, w e w ill aim to expand mostly in SE A fi rst, then A sia, then Global! So, to ans w er your question, w ait for us to reach w here you are mate! W e all kno w s..every w here is fud.. w hat do you think about the market lately?? so many countries seem to be blocking the development of crypto.. Ho w can Creo Engine build user trust again? and w ill you be able to control the price later? Yes, at least w e aim to be a gaming platform w hich provides w elfare in asia, perhaps thats a starting approach A re you gamers? Is there anyone on your team w ho has participated in gaming competitions? Yes! W hen I w as 12 I participated in a getamped competition back in Indonesia, it w as really fun, but that w as the golden age of gaming back w hen life w as much simpler Creo engine is a basic game w here in the future everything from creo and for creo if you w ant to strengthen the character of the game. but on average, if the game to earn w ith its o w n tokens, the price w ill be destroyed, meaning it w ill continue to fall, no matter ho w good the use case is, if the price continues to fall, investor interest w ill be lost. So from this I w ant to ask w hat can make this Creo not fall in price because everyone w ho plays gets their o w n Creo token??? Hmm..tricky. W ell.. W e learned a lot from many predecessors of game fi projects and come up w ith a conclusion that w e cannot actually avert all the risk in this business. Ho w ever, w e can actually lessen the risk by employing a good strategy in releasing the tokens in game. Bt w , you cannot earn CREO directly in the game. There are certain w ays you can earn them from events or quests, buut no w directly. I see Creo Engine's NFT interchangeability bet w een games is the most prominent and distinctive aspect of the platform. W hat is the most outstanding value of these NFTs? W hat are the bene fi ts of NFT exchanges? W hat other utilities do you w ant to add to your NFTs to increase their value? It is the additional value of the A ssets as more games come to our platform. Imagine you w in a simple piece of rock in Evermore Knights (our fi rst game) and that piece of rock actually has value in more than 10 or 20 games in our ecosystem. Can you imagine the value? Is the purpose of Creo Engine just to enable regular gamers to become crypto game users? W hat innovations w ill your platform o ff er for both gaming and earning? This here is actually the reason w hy w e created a game studio of our o w n. To ensure the games w e created covers both the "fun" and 'earn' part of Game fi project. A s many of us kno w , most crypto games are just blatantly 'crypto'. W e w ant to break that tradition. Listing on the right exchanges especially major exchanges helps to increase the token price and is a form of Marketing. So W here can w e buy Token and w hat plans do you have for listing on major exchanges (DEX and CEX)? Currently, you can buy from MEXC and Pancakes w ap. For the future, you'll just have to w ait for the announcements mate. No spoilers!
