Standard Operation Procedure for Bench top Centrifuge The purpose of this document is to ensure that Bench top Centrifuge is used in proper way. 1. Starting Bench top Centrifuge: 1.1. Connect the unit to a main supply 1.2. Switch on 2. Display and control panel , s peed Display: 2.1 This display shows the speed values during programming. 2.2 It also indicates accelerating condition, braking condition, power failure condition, open lid c ondition and the condition that occurs 3. Time Display 3.1. This display shows the time during programming and the run. 3.2. It also shows the temperature during Programming. 4. Lid key and Led 4.1. This key opens the lid if the le d is on. 4.2. It is active before starting the centrifugation and at the end of the centrifugation when the audible alarm sounds 5. Start the Centrifuge , a fter loading the sample 5.1. Push START to run the program. 5.2. The program starts. ‘Acc’ is seen on the speed display until the set speed and the set speed is seen when it reaches to the set speed. 5.3. The program continues to operate until the time display shows “00”. 5.4. At the end of the adjusted time the motor stats to slow down and ‘br’ is seen on the speed display. 5.5. When the motor stops ‘End’ is seen on the speed display and audible alarm sounds. (If Hold position is selected, the program will s top when the STOP button is pushed) 5.6. Push the LID key and open the lid to take out the samples.
