Beginning with a simple pixelated snake game common in early smartphones, the snake gradually evolves into a more fl e shed - out form, seeking out apples. This progression eventually leads to the apples themselves evolving into quietly existing elements within a sterile, cold, and highly advanced ecosystem. In today’s technological landscape, corporations continuously inject new smart and AI features into our daily lives. With every new advancement comes another subscription, slowly eroding our autonomy as it slips into the hands of these capitalistic corpora tions. Part 1: The narrative begins with a familiar and simpl e game of snake, prevalent in early smartphones. The pixel art style, created with stencils, re fl ects the simplicity of technology back in the day, alongside the straightforward gameplay of the snake game. Part 2: Slowly, the pixelated snake becomes its fl eshed out form, bringing us to the present day. The snakes bear the sparkle icon on their bodies, which is a symbol used on several digital platforms to represent arti fi cial intelligence. They relentlessly attack the apples, causing them to evolve further, with additional screens and buttons. Part 3: At the end is a dystopian future, where the apples exist peacefully in a sterile ecosystem, under control, hinting at a potential scenario where individuals are stripped of their autonomy and fully reliant on technology to keep us alive. *S CAPE Co., Ltd. 2 Orchard Link #04 - 05 Singapore 237978 www.scape.sg About the Artist Avril, aka JAMA, is a multi - disciplinary creator, exploring the intersections of visual arts and design.
