What Love Looks Like In Public - South Side Home Movie Project January 21 - September 1, 2022 I worked in collaboration with archival donors, Chicago community artists and students to curate a series of still images from the moving image archive to be exhibited on the University of Chicago’s ArtsLawn fence. Black Brandeis, Black History Digital Timeline - Robert D. Farber University Archives and Special Collections, Brandeis University January 17 - May 5, 2019 I worked in collaboration with students on a course to code and create an interactive timeline of Black history at the university. As the archival tech assistant I also redesigned the Brandeis Blk Archives Collective site and brought it to accessibility standards. SELECTED WORK EXPERIENCE “Black Forest” Project Researcher, Poetic Justice Lab, MIT 2023 Black focused oral history organizations and storytellers in cities across the U.S., totalling over 200 to collaborate with Ekene Ijeoma’s tree planting project.. A/V Archives Intern, South Side Home Movie Project 2021-2022 Accessioned, inspected, processed and cataloged 8mm, super 8mm and 16mm fi lm. Created metadata and photo catalog for The Roberts Family Collection. A/V Archives Intern, Rhode Island Historical Society 2020-2022 Processed and cataloged 16mm fi lm from the local WPRI and WJAR news collections. Gained intellectual control over the audio collection and built out analog and digital digitization stations. Did cataloging, outreach and grant support for award winning RI COVID-19 Archive. Technical Assistant, Robert D. Farber University Archives 2018-2019 Redesigned Black Space Portal website to achieve accessibility standards. Collaborated with award-winning African and African American Studies course to create html based interactive digital timeline of Black history at Brandeis University. Intern, Museum of Contemporary Photography 2015-2016 Matted and framed photographs for exhibition, as well as conditioning and packing for shipment, and photographed for digitization. Program Facilitator, Teaching to Transgress 2014-2016 Planned and facilitated weekly workshops aimed at teaching faculty how to create and maintain equitable multicultural classrooms utilizing Theater of the Oppressed.
