FEPS Celebrates Political Mass Media Film Projects FEPS Economics Department Projects Discussions The Department of Economics had the honor of inviting Economic expert Mr. Hany Tawfik as well as Dr. Doaa Akl, Director of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Program at Benha National University, as jury members for the Honor Thesis Projects Discussions. The Honor Thesis course is taught by the Head of the Economics Department and Associate Professor of Economics, Dr. Abeer Rashdan. Rapporteur for European Institute of the Mediterranean - focused group: governing the WEFE nexus in the region- balancing water, energy, food, and ecosystem priorities. New students had the opportunity to explore the campus, check out the facilities, and talk to lecturers and current students as well as ask questions about courses and see what kind of support is available. st Representatives shared with upcoming university students the Faculty up-to-date curriculum, critical thinking, and creative courses. Students are to benefit from small class sizes, interactive lectures, opportunities for internships, and hands-on experience to cope with external workforce opportunities. "Movie Night": A Critical Analysis of WWII through Facts, Fictions, and Opinions 🌍 As we wrapped up our Evolution of International Political Relations course, the final session saw students organizing an engaging movie night, where they applied the critical thinking skills they developed throughout the semester to analyze and interpret a selection of nearly 40 films that tackled various aspects of World War II, and this movie night became an excellent opportunity to explore the interplay between facts, fictions, and opinions in shaping our understanding of international politics. The course is delivered by Dr. Nilly Kamal Elamir. FEPS Alumni, Bassel El-Kalaf has been selected for the Leadership Excellence Program at the American Center Cairo (ACC), organized by the US embassy in Cairo.
