CLASSIFICATION & ORGANIZATION OF DATA Presented by Cyren Agonace Almar Ken Abenir STATISTICS WHAT IS STATISTICS? STATISTICS Statistics is the science of collecting, analyzing, presenting, and interpreting data. Its two main branches are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive Statistics: Summarizes data using the mean, median, mode, and variance. MAIN BRANCHES OF STATISTICS Inferential Statistics: Tests ideas and makes predictions about a large group using a small sample. CLASSIFICATION & ORGANIZATION OF DATA CLASSIFICATION OF DATA Classification is the process of grouping data into categories based on common characteristics. It helps make data easier to understand and analyze. QUALITATIVE Qualitative classification in statistics sorts data into non- numerical categories based on traits or characteristics, commonly split into nominal, ordinal, and binary types. Sed lacinia ipsum quis odio eleifend, eget luctus ligula bibendum. CLASSIFICATION QUANTITATIVE CLASSIFICATION Quantitative classification in statistics sorts data using numerical measurements and counts, divided into discrete and continuous groups. ORGANIZATION OF DATA ORGANIZATION OF DATA Organization of data in statistics is the systematic arrangement of raw, collected information into logical categories using classification, tabulation, and frequency distribution. This process transforms unstructured numbers into clear formats to make comparison and analysis easy. THANK UU BSMA TA YAH!! HAHAHA
