J. POZI+IVE Rapper•Writer•Producer•Composer ABOUT J. POZI+IVE Born in Philadelphia and raised in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), Jeremy “J. POZI+IVE” Young is a self-taught songwriter, rapper, producer and composer. Jeremy discovered his passion for music after listening to Hip Hop CDs that his older brother brought home. They would freestyle and make beats on tables, basketball bleachers, etc. Soon enough, it started a movement that their friends became a part of to express their creativity and eventually they went from tape recorders to recording on Jeremy’s laptop. This all led to the opportunity to open up a show for Daddy Yankee and other talented Caribbean artists! Jeremy moved away from the BVI in 2010 in pursuit of building a life of his own; it resulted in a one-way ticket to Oahu, Hawaii, which has been a big life changing experience. He became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and continuously invests in himself to further his music career. J. POZI+IVE has networked himself on social media, radio, local TV networks, and has been featured on FOX, NBC and CBS in e orts to bring a positive message to the world through his music.
