Marble Temple

Diwali is celebrated with glowing lamps, festive decorations, and prayers with the evening Lakshmi Ganesha puja holding special significance for many Hindu families. Families clean their homes, arrange sweets and wait for the auspicious hour (muhurat). At the centre of the ritual stand Laxmi and Ganesha, invoked together for prosperity and wisdom. Nowadays, many families choose a marble Laxmi Ganesh statue for Diwali, because a well-made idol carries the ritual forward from one year to the next.
