A qualification in Nursing accredited by NCHFE at MQF Level 4 (Foreign or Maltese) and/or Registration as a Second Level Nurse with the Council for Midwives and Nurses of Malta or 1 A Level in Biology and 2 Intermediates (or Foreign Equivalent) and 2. Is proficient in English (if foreign students IELTS with marking over 6.5) preferably at Matsec Ordinary level or equivalent (candidates might be asked or requested to sit for a Maltese and English or either proficiency test at this level if the need arises) and 3. Have moderate digital competencies, regular access to a computer, tablet, or other suitable mobile device, and a reliable internet connection. During the course, candidates must be working in a hospital, clinic or in the health care sector and be willing to carry out a number of hours working in a hospital, clinic or elderly care homes or residences in order to gain work experience in this area. The letter of acceptance will only be issued once the course deposit has been paid. You need to send over the deposit at least two weeks before the course start date. 2. The conditional letter of acceptance will be issued on request after the first payment for the first six months of the academic year. If the visa is not issued, then €100 will be retained as an administration fee, and the remaining funds will be reimbursed. 3. If a student does not pass from a particular module and needs to repeat that same module, this will be carried out at an additional fee. 4. Once the student starts the programme, any fees due are non-refundable. 5. The student has to fill out an online application. On admission, s/he will need to sign a contract of studies. 6. All applicants must present (in paper or digital format) all the certificates that are needed to assess eligibility at least a day before starting the course. 7. If you want to change courses (e.g. from the Certificate course to the Diploma course within the same faculty), you need to inform us at least two weeks before starting the course. If this change requires an additional deposit fee, then this change will be only accepted on the condition that we receive the payment immediately. Unfortunately, we cannot accept such changes if you've already started the original course. 8. Exemption from course modules due to other certifications that the applicant has already obtained is possible; however, this takes place on a case by case basis.
