As a human, you are made up of thousands of lineages. As a person of African descent, not all of your lineages are African. You are taking a MatriClan Test to trace the ancestry of ONE of your many lineages, your maternal lineage. There is an approximately eight percent (8%) chance that you will receive a non-African result. It may be European, Middle Eastern, Indigenous American or Asian instead of African. You must acknowledge the possibility that your MatriClan result may not result in an African result in order for your test to be processed.
