Education Rhode Island School of Design, Providence RI Bachelor of Fine Arts, Painting December 2019 Skills 3D: Basic woodworking, basic proficiency with a knitting machine, Basic sewing. Some practice with various bookbinding techinques. A wide variety of printmak- ing techniques relating to monotypes and intaglio processes especially involving engraving. 2D: A strong affinity for drawing. Capable of drawing techincally, from life, and collaboratively. Experience excecuting detailed drawing works on large and small scales with a large range of instruments. Painting in acrylics, oils and wa- tercolor. Basic photography for the purpose of art documentation. Computer: Familiar with both Mac and PC systems. Photoshop, Indesign, Flash. Google suite, Microsoft office suite. Good online research skills, good at adapt- ing to new software. Quick reading with solid comprehension, an eye for editing and proofreading work for publication like in Brown Universities’ “Indy”. Other: Practice categorizing and archiving work, partially borne of experience with the collection and identification of insects at RISDs nature lab. Extensive experience with working under pressure, effective prioritizing, self-motivation and problem solving due to onset of serious autoimmune illness in mid teens. Experience Rhode Island School of Design, Providence RI Work Study, 2016-2019 Worked as nighttime dorm monitor, checkout at Media Resources library, and gallery monitor in various school-owned galleries / Organized and co-led “Sun- set Club”, a weekly nature walking club with additonal events surrounding be- ing outside and eating communally / Exhibited in 6 student shows, including “Sleepover: The Exploration and Evolution of Girlhood, Sexuality and Identity” (2017) in Gelman Gallery. Triangle Arts Association June-August 2018 Worked as artists’ assitant for an artist-in-residence and an associated artist, fabricating pieces and revamping/administrating online presence.
