Job Title: Garment Printer Location: FN Teamwear, Peffermill Business Parc, Edinburgh Hours of work: 40 Hours per week Start Date: January 2020 Contract: Permanent Salary: Competitive annual salary plus pension, 28 days holiday & staff discount Vacancy Overview This role sits at the heart of FN Teamwear, focusing on the output of teamwear orders. This involves applying heat transfers to garments, weeding of prints produced by the vinyl cutter and working towards kit deadlines. The majority of your time will be spent standing whilst operating a heat press machine. What you’ll be doing day to day • Weeding of letters/numbers/logos produced on the vinyl cutter • Applying these to garments via use of a heat press machine, this requires standing on your feet for a high percentage of your day • Organising & recording of garments for in-house/outsourced embroidery • Assisting the Operations Director with any additional production tasks • Liaising with the internal sales team on queries over job requests to eliminate errors • Additional duties as requested e.g. general housekeeping of production area at end of evening What we are looking for: • Experience in a production / manual labour role • Experience of working in a team and working under pressure • Someone who is comfortable with repetition of tasks • Someone with good attention to detail – follow print instructions accurately • Reliable, punctual and committed • A hard-working attitude & tenacious approach to your work
