Players Pack version 2.0 Event date and location The event date is 13th March 2021 and players should be there at 9:00am for a 9:30 round start. The event will be held at the Cartel Gaming Club, 49 Phillip Avenue, Watson, ACT. Tickets and prizes: Tickets are available from https://www.w-up.com.au/store/event-tickets/clash-in-the-capital- ticket.html . Ticket cost is $20 which goes to venue hire and the prize pool. Prizes: All prizes this time will be a lucky door prize with the prize pool based on the number of ticket sales. This is done to encourage newer players to come along and mean that winning and losing games only contributes to bragging rights. CMON Tournament Guidelines This event will follow the tournament guidelines from CMON available at www.asoiaf.cmon.com/docs. The sections of the tournament guidelines decided by the tournament organiser are listed in this document as is some of the important information you will need to prepare for the event. Army list: List for the event are 40 points. You are able to bring up to two army lists. If you choose to bring two lists they must be from the same faction. Your army lists should be printed for the event. You do not need to submit you list for the date this time round but they MUST be printed before the event. In addition each player should select 3 pieces of terrain and note this as part of your list. You will use 2 of these for each game as part of the map set up. Please note you do not need to bring the terrain just list what terrain you are including somewhere on your army list. Players should have printed updated unit cards or access to them through the War council app or your printed army list. Tables and Terrain will be provided on the day. Any unit released officially by CMON by the 12th of March 2021 (via the war council app) may be played in the event. Kickstarter exclusive units that have not been officially released are not able to be played (e.g. the mountain that rides). Game Modes: Each round will have a pre-prescribed game mode as follows: Round 1: Clash of Kings. Round 2: A Dance with Dragons. Round 3: Feast for Crows Round 4 (if player numbers permit): Fire and Blood. Tournament Scoring: Each round players are awarded points as followed: Tournament points (TP): - 3 TP for a win, - 2 TP for a tie, - 1 for a loss, - 0 for a forfeit. Players are also awarded secondary points based on the difference between their victory points at the end of a game as follows, these are used as tie breakers: Secondary Points (SP) - 5+ point difference: Winner: 4 SP/Loser: 0SP. - 3-4 point difference: Winner: 3 SP/Loser: 1SP. - 0-2 point difference: Winner: 2 SP/Loser: 2SP If you destroy all of your opponents combat units in a game you are automatically awarded 4SP and your opponent 0SP. Players should also keep a tally of total points destroyed as this will be a tertiary tie breaker. Pairings and Victory: The first round will be random pairings with each subsequent round players will be paired according to scores. Players will not be required to play the same opponent more than once. The player with the highest number of tournament points will be the winner, with secondary points as a tie breaker.
