United States Marine Corps Roleplay Server GENERAL RULES 1. Use common sense ● If you’re doing something that seems to be breaking rules or anything that may discourage fair behavior, it probably should not be done. 2. RDM(Random Death Match - Killing someone without a legitimate roleplay reason) is not permitted 3. Metagaming and Exploits are NOT tolerated ● Using out of character information to gain information on other characters such as using the scoreboard to see someone’s real job is considered metagaming ● Using anything that benefits you unfairly over any other player is exploitation, such as using a map bug as cover, or making money unfairly. 4. FailRP, FearRP, and NLR are in place ● FailRP- doing an action that would not be possible and not realistic in a real-life scenario(jumping off buildings, running in front of moving vehicles, etc) ● FearRP - roleplay as if you only have one life (examples: staying behind cover and covering from incoming fire, not running out into an empty field in the middle of combat, not running into a situation that you will for sure die, etc.) ● NLR - New Life Rule, means that you cannot return to the place that you died at or go after the person that killed. You can not use any information that you used prior to your death for your new life. You must wait 2 minutes to return to place of death after killed if it was inside of the base. If it was outside you must wait for 10 5. Racism or discrimination is prohibited in out of character(Use of hard slurs are outright banned)(Only may be used in a roleplay form!) 6. /comms are only for U.S Forces, however, insurgents have access to intercept communications, 7. Leaving U.S base requires permission to leave (PTL), In order to leave you must follow the criteria(read below for guidelines on how it works) 8. Only NCO+ can set up FoB(Forward Operating Base) 9. Rp Name must be serious and follow guidelines 10. Minging/Trolling is not allowed ● Using /me for nonrealistic purposes is not permitted(Taking cyanide pills, using for minging and NSFW reasons) U.S Forces Rules 1. PTL is always active, If code is above not green all PTL is denied! 2. Friendly Fire is NOT ALLOWED 3. Trigger discipline must be present 4. All company soldiers are required to know marching commands, formations, rules, ranks, and ROE 5. Rules of Engagement must be followed 6. You must request permission from Company Commander to change company 7. E-6+ only may do tryouts/training for the company. 8. All Sergeants must be Drill Sergeant Qualified(DSQ) 9. All Staff Sergeants+ must be qualified to train/tryout new recruits(WILL BE TESTED RANDOMLY) 10. Only PFC+ may leave the base 11. Adverts/Operations must follow OPT guidelines! 12. U.S Force may not leave U.S Territory unless in Company Commander Operation, or at war 13. Do not fire weapon inside of the base, you may only fire a weapon in kill house or at the range. Weapon otherwise must be away unless at the post, Code Yellow+ Insurgent(ISIS) Rules 1. If capturing points, you’re KOS 2. If outmatched you must follow commands 3. Only Suicide bombers don’t need to use FearRP 4. You’re KOS if nearby U.S Territory/points during Code Red 5. Taking out Weapon and it is visible to U.S Forces means you are allowed to be KOS Raids/War Rules 1. War may only be called by Company Commanders or ISIS Leaders 2. Raid must be adverted using the following guideline a. /advert RAID on the US for(list out the information here) i. Allowed Reasons for Wars & Raids 1. Regaining control of territory 2. Provoked by previous Raid 3. Suppressive action on the enemy 4. Diplomacy 3. Raids may only last for 20 minutes or until all involved forces die 4. If killed during a raid, return to your debrief 5. Barracks, Recruit areas, Drill Sergeants, and Trainees may not be killed during raids/War Permission To Leave ● PTL/Permission to leave may only be accepted by Military Police, or E-8+ ● All Warrant Officers must follow PTL ● You may only leave base every 15 Minutes ● You may only leave in squads of 4+ (with at least 1 E-4) If leaving base you must follow this template(with reasoning) ● /comms PTL - Reasoning here ○ Reasons To Leave ■ Dispatching in a squad to patrol in front at capture checkpoints ■ Heading out to FoB’s ■ Leaving to begin operations ■ Troop Transport ■ Med-Evac Example: /comms PTL Leaving to begin operations Operation Guidelines ● All operations must be conducted by a minimum of 4 people and a Sergeant+ ● Operations must be planned out and have a reason behind it Follow this Template if conducting Operation ● Once arriving at destination you must /advert following this template ○ /advert (Time when Operation is over) (Location) (Operation Objective) ■ Operation Objectives ● Patrolling Checkpoint to ensure security ● Capturing Checkpoints to set up FoB ● Recon and Intel gathering ● Capturing high-value targets Example Advert: /advert ##:35 Raheem Mosque Patrolling Checkpoint to ensure Security
