Adivasi Students’ Forum Interim Committee - Structure Section 1.1 Structure and Membership a. There would be 5 members in the Interim Committee. b. All the five members should fulfil the ‘membership criteria’ of the proposed constitution of ASF. c. They should be the current student ( M.A. | M. Phil | Ph.D ) of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. d. It shall be an autonomous & empowered team which would have all the freedom to take their own decisions as an Interim Committee. e. The Committee shall be in the effect till the final passing of the proposed Constitution. f. The Committee shall function as the executive and administrative body of the organization till the proposed Constitution comes into effect. Section 1.2 Duties & Responsibilities a. Interim Committee would take care of all the day to day administrative functions1 of the ASF till the Constitution is formally passed. b. Interim body would play a crucial role of extending a helping hand in terms of academic support to the students of our community, in this time of crisis. Section 1.3 Selection a. The interested members can volunteer to be in the Interim Committee b. In case the number of members applied is more than the proposed number of seats, then a brief Consensus Building process amongst the General Council would be followed in a separate session. 1 Statement releases, planning of orientation sessions for new ASF members, carrying out academic guidance & help for the new students, online membership drive, planning & organising the upcoming significant events online like Indigenous Day and others, coordination with the different student led organisation in the campus, overseeing the required participation of General Council Members in the meeting, and other events/processes which the Interim Committee deem necessary
