Summer Garden Herbal Remedies Summer Garden Herbal Remedies This course is for: Anyone who would like to know more about the health benefits of Summer herbs and other garden plants. You will learn: • Information about herbal medicine and common garden herbs that can benefit health • Identification of key herbs in your garden. • Safe harvesting, drying and storing of garden herbs for personal use. • How to make a tea and ointment with medicinal benefits. • How to use medicinal garden herbs safely. This course will be delivered remotely so you will be part of a live class, with a tutor, but with everyone will be at their own home. There are no exams or formal assessments. There will be chance to ask questions. Work outside of sessions: This is not required, though we hope you will want to put what you have learned into practice. Additional costs and what to prepare: You will need either a smart phone, tablet, laptop or other computer with internet access to take part in this Zoom session. Please make sure you test your video and sound system before the session starts. You will need a pen and paper, laptop or tablet so that you can make your own notes. Handouts will be emailed after the session. How to access your course: You will be sent an email at least 24 hours before your Zoom course is due to start with joining instructions. Progression from this course: You may wish to try some of our other herbal medicine or natural product courses such as ‘Herbal Gifts’, ‘Spring Herbal Tonics’, ‘Wild Food – Elderflower Cordial’ or ‘Green Cleaning’.
