DESIGN BRIEF DESIGN BRIEF - Determine the purpose and target audience of the chair. Is it for children, adults, or elderly people? Will it be used for dining, lounging, or working? Decide on the materials to be used. The chair can be made of wood, metal, plastic, or a combination of these materials. Sketch a basic design of the chair, including the dimensions, shape, and style. The chair should be sturdy, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. Add a footrest or footrests to the design, as a low height chair may require additional support for the feet. Consider the ergonomics of the chair. The seat and backrest should be angled and shaped to provide optimal comfort and support for the user. Choose a color or finish for the chair that complements the overall design and matches the intended setting. Create a prototype of the chair and test it for stability, comfort, and functionality. Make any necessary adjustments to the design based on the prototype testing. Finalize the design and prepare it for production. Overall, the low height chair design should prioritize comfort, stability, and durability, while also being visually appealing and suitable for its intended use and audience. It has the colour darkest brown. The tree trunk’s strong and tough portion. benefits include less moisture, less shrinking, and more insect resistance. It is dark brown in colour. Snap As a result of moisture, which provides water and nutrients to branches and leaves, wood becomes less durable. It is a light brown colour. The tree trunk develops repeating rings that reveal the tree’s age. which makes it easier to determine the strength of the trunk. The portion of the trunk that is growing is the cambium cell layer. It generates fresh bark every year. The tree is sheltered from the outside by its outer bark. It helps keep out moisture and keeps the tree from losing moisture as it is regularly renewed from within. Oak wood is incredibly sturdy, powerful, and long- lasting. It has a strong grain, a pleasing light colour, and is resistant to fungus because of its robust structure and long life, which must prepare the tree for its lengthy lifetime. Teak has a high level of natural durability, is kind of hard and heavy, has poor stiffness and shock resistance, but great dimensional stability and decay resistance. It also has strong acid resistance Sheesham wood is also referred to as Indian rosewood or Indian Dalbergia sissoo. It is renowned for its toughness and contrast in Colour. As sheesham has a high oil content, carpenters can readily work with it. Acacia wood is naturally smooth, and even more so when polished.Typically warm in tone, it usually displays quite a distinctive and beautiful natural wood grain.it is known for highly durable and water-resistant Mango wood is a soft wood categorized as hardwood because of its strength, density, attractive looks and of course durability that allows it not to wear out quickly and keep their high luster texture for many years.
