Calcium Heist Defying the will of Bone Lords, you and your Skull Mates dare to attempt an all-or-nothing heist to become the strongest, best-est, and most powerful skeletons. The Bone Lords have a secret vault, filled with precious calcium tithed from the graveyard denizens, safely cached away inside the humans’ bank. Halloween is soon, giving an opportunity to strike. If you succeed, the calcium will surely allow you and your Skull Mates to overthrow the Bone Lords, rule your own graveyard, or [insert your skele-motivation here]. However, the Bone Lords are sure to not leave their treasure unguarded. What traps might be in store? Your approach must be in secret, because if a panic starts with the humans, you will surely be captured and punished by the Bone Lords... Bones Every skeleton needs bones. If you run out of Bones, you lose . If you start to run low, you get some bad e ects: - 3 Bones left: You move slowly - 2 Bones left: You cannot manipulate objects - 1 Bone left: You cannot move, you are just a skull If you find or Fetch Bones, you can gain up to your Fetch Bones skill per day. There is no limit on how many Bones you can have at once. However, the more Bones you have, the bigger you are (and more likely to cause a panic if seen by humans!) Start wi t h 1 Bone, plus 2 Bones per starting point spent on Bones Main Stats Get 1 of any Main Stat per starting point spent, or, spend Calcium at any time to increase a main stat. It costs twice as much to increase a Main Stat to 4 or greater. Big Bones Big Bones let you do big things, like smash or carry Small Bones Small Bones help you do small things, like sneak Throw Bones Throw Bones let you do things far away, whether the throw does it or you command your ghastly appendage from afar Fetch Bones Fetch Bones is your skill at finding things, like bones. If you find a bone or fetch a bone you lost, you can gain Bones (up to your Fetch Bones skill per day) Spooky Spooky lets you unleash the dark magic of your bones. It determines how much you know about skeletons and how scary you can be, and how good your pranks are Trumpet Trumpet lets you harness the whimsical skeleton magic. It determines how much you remember about humans, and trumpeting can be used to calm or allure humans Making Rolls If it is unclear the outcome of an action, the SkeleMaster (SM) can call for a roll of the appropriate Main Stat. 1. The SM announces the di culty. 2. Roll a d6 and add the appropriate Main Stat. If you told a bone pun related to your action, add one more. 3. Meets-it-beats-it, if you roll equal to or above the di culty, you succeed! 4. If you roll a 1 on the dice, you lose a Bone (even if you succeeded)! 5. If you fail, you can sacrifice Bones to add to the roll (add 1 for each Bone sacrificed). 6. If you still haven’t succeeded (and didn’t roll a 1 earlier), roll again to try to keep your bones. Roll, then add the same Main Stat. If you fail again, you lose one Bone!
