DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: In my starting day I conduct safety tool box meeting and describe briefly. Ensuring that each worker is following safety rules and regulations. To ensure that work permit is also there on job site. Discussion of safety aspects with construction supervisor before starting jobs. Maintain all safety related documents such as weekly / monthly inspection reports, fire extinguisher reports. Inspection of necessary work permits whenever to begin the job. Checking hot work permit, confined space entry permit, elevated work permit, excavation permit. Taking the disciplinary action against employees for carelessness. Make monthly inspection of moving equipment's and fire extinguisher, ladders. Daily inspection of crane and scaffolding. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly project safety reports, weekly progress meeting. Oversee implementation of operational systems and procedures to include but not be limited to: permit to work system, lock - out/tag - out system, and hazardous chemical - MSDS, PPE system, H2S awareness, and other required training activities. Checking of tools and equipment’s. Inspection of PPE. Fall protection implementation inspection. Arrange immediate co - ordinate in case of any emergency in the site. Support permits opening procedures. Color code inspection of tools and equipment. Monitor and maintain housekeeping activities in all areas and ensure safety environment for all workers and staff by providing appropriate band sufficient safety tags, warning signs and notice. Making daily reports regarding unsafe procedures in the job site and preventive steps to avoid recurrence. Prepare and distribute safety promotional material ad safety report procedures. Inspection of all scaffolds, ladders, all plant tools and machine.
