Special intention prayers e.g. wedding anniversary, Birthday, Health, etc. A BRIEF ABOUT THE NEW ST PAUL NAGASIBA CHURCH The New St. Paul Nagasiba Church is located in Kampung Nagasiba, hence the name of the church. The 5 acres land acquired on 14 Dec 2012 is located behind Selesa Court and SMK Bahang at Jalan Nosoob, Hungab-Kobusak, Penampang. The Development Plan was approved on 25 May 2021. Land fully reclaimed in Aug 2022. The reasons for a new settlement for the church: 1. The present church could not accommodate the growing number of parishioners; 2. Parking is a major problem; and 3. The church is not in a good condition. FIRST WORLD CHILDREN ’ S DAY Pope Francis has announced that the first World Children ’ s Day will be celebrated on 25 th /26tth May 2024. In response to this event, CMI Catechetical Ministry will be having activities for children aged 5 to 13 years after Mass on Sunday, 26 th May 2024 from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm. Activities for children are colouring competition (5-7 yrs old); Treasure Hunt (8-10 yrs old); and Bible Quiz (11-13 yrs old). Appealing to parents to support this celebration by registering your children according to age categories. No fee will be charged. Complimentary lunch will be served for participating children. Parents who wish to join for lunch will be charged RM20 per pax. Registration is open before and after Mass until Sunday, 19 th May 2024 in the church lobby. SUNDAY MASS ON 26 TH MAY 2024 The children will be involved in the liturgy as Readers and Commentator, Wardens, Choir and Gift-bearers.
