I started my career in visual effects in 2015 right after finishing the course for nuke compositor at “Facet School of VFX” where I had the opportunity to work in my first movie due to a connection between the school and a studio based in Mexico. Upon completing my studies, I gained full-time employment at Ollin VFX as a junior compositor working on my first feature films (Deadpool and Suicide Squad). After that an opportunity came from Boxel Studio , where I could continue developing my skills as compositor working in rotoscoping, cleanups, tracking, key, grading and 3D projections. Whit a three-year siting at Boxel I relocated to Montreal, Canada in 2019 to work with MillFilm and Mr.x as a mid-compositor, where my skills developed to seniority. In 2021, I shifted my career back to Mexico because the pandemic period working back with Boxel Studio as asenior compositor. In 2022 focus to seek increase my skills I went back to Montreal to work with Framestore for almost two years, here I could develop my technical skillsets in workflow, I learned how to produce better quality VFX and more efficiently. This has been a fulfilling period, and I'm excited to see what opportunities the future holds for continued growth. Sometimes the department needed help with different tasks to help with the project delivery. • Rotoscoping, matte extraction and green/blue keying as part of my day-to-day tasks. • Integration of 2D and 3D elements, CGI over live action plates. On my last return to the studio every shot assigned to me had this task. • Adjustment and manipulation of the particle system, projections, cameras and gizmos created by the supervisor for each shot. I worked in plates that were filmed in virtual sets, I replaced backgrounds matching color, lighting and, exposure. • I executed 2D and 3D tracks mainly for set extensions. • When was necessary I did grain management for paintout tasks along with paint fixes and rostoscoping.
