A T H E N S EASTER 2021 HOTEL PERFORMANCE INSIDE GENERAL OVERVIEW The city of Athens has been in lockdown since mid - November and currently increased the number of cases within its neighbourhoods As such , after almost five months of consecutive lockdown hotel room prices for orthodox Easter holidays keep on decreasing , according to a survey conducted in March by RevApp , reflecting the low number of tourists arriving in the Greek capital and the uncertainty and restrictions on travelling due to the current pandemic PROPRIETARY MONTHLY REPORT A P R I L 2 0 2 1 www.getRevApp.com | info@getRevApp.com R O O M P R I C E S HOTEL ROOM PRICES FOR EASTER 2021 IN ATHENS NEIGHBORHOODS Within a month ( from February to March ) hotel room prices for Easter in Athens have dropped significantly (- 18 17 %). Specifically , while the average hotel room price for Easter at the end of February was equal to € 139 6 , it dropped to € 114 23 by the end of March In the center of Athens , the drop between these two months is slightly lower equal to 14 23 %: from € 148 61 to € 126 74 These reductions are also reflected in the main touristic areas of the city center All neighborhoods present similar reductions in a range of 3 43 % and 32 11 % with the exception of Koukaki where the hotel room prices for Easter holidays were increased by 7 75 % between end of February and end of March On the other hand , the neighbourhood with the highest drop was the area of Psirri with a 32 11 % drop in its hotel room prices for Easter holidays www.getRevApp.com | info@getRevApp.com
