All ages are welcome to participate. Fish release will take place at the hatchery, which is a short walk over the wooden footbridge behind the Port Moody Rec. Centre Ice Rink (300 Ioco Road). Take a look inside our hatchery where we have been incubating the chum since the fall and see the fish - rearing coho pond outside. Mark your calendars for our annual FREE, FUN, FAMILY EVENT! Port Moody Ecological Society’s 34th Annual Fingerling Festival Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, 11am to 3pm at 300 Ioco Road. Inside the ice rink, our exhibitor fair will showcase over 50 environmental organizations, providing education on stewardship and our local ecology.
