The Caribbean Literary Festival concludes today. The event, sponsored by Broward Community College's African American Faculty, Staff and Associates, American Airlines and JM Family Enterprises, is part of the Sistrunk Historical Festival. All of today's events take place in Room 155 of the Criminal Justice Institute at Broward Community College's Central Campus. * Geoffrey Philp, a Jamaican-born professor at Miami-Dade Community College, and author Felix Morriseau Morriseau - Leroy Leroy of Haiti will speak at 2 p.m. * A panel discussion on the Caribbean Diaspora and Its Impact on the Literature of the Region will be presented from 10 to 11 a.m., with Caribbean scholars Sandra Paquet, George Lamming, Robert Anton and Lorna Goodison. * From 11 a.m. to noon, a presentation titled Three Poets from Jamaica will feature Don Rico Ricketts, Malichi Smith and Christine Craig. * From noon to 2 p.m., there will be a book fair and autograph session with the authors.
