The facts below come from CertFun’s H13-321 exam syllabus and were checked against Huawei’s official HCIP-AI-EI Developer certification page. Certification Huawei Certified ICT Professional - AI-EI Developer (HCIP-AI-EI Developer) Exam code H13-321 (booked at Pearson VUE as H13-321_V2.5) Version V2.5 Level Professional (HCIP) Number of questions 60 (from the CertFun syllabus page; Huawei’s exam page does not state a count) Question format Single-answer, multiple-answer, true or false, and short response items Exam duration 90 minutes Passing score 600 out of 1000 Exam fee USD 300 Delivery Written exam through Pearson VUE - test centre, or OnVUE online proctoring Language English Recommended background Higher mathematics and Python programming Validity 3 years Two details are worth knowing before you sit it. First, Huawei’s exam page lists four question types - single-answer, multiple-answer, true or false, and short response - so read every stem for how many answers it wants. Second, Huawei’s page gives the time, pass mark and fee but not the number of questions; the figure of 60 comes from the CertFun syllabus page. Candidates sit the exam through Pearson VUE, at a test centre or online through OnVUE. Pearson notes that OnVUE is only for candidates residing outside mainland China. www.certfun.com Huawei H13-321 Huawei Certified ICT Professional - AI-EI Developer (HCIP-AI-EI Developer V2.5) 2 SECTION 02 About Version 2.5 and Who It Is For Huawei’s certification page states that HCIP-AI-EI Developer V2.5 was released on 30 March 2025. The V2.5 outline pairs the established image, speech and NLP material with a domain on large models - attention, the Transformer, and the algorithm and engineering work behind DeepSeek - worth 12% of the exam. Huawei aims the training at people who want to become senior enterprise AI development engineers. It recommends familiarity with basic Linux operations, a good command of further mathematics and basic Python programming. In Huawei’s words, certified developers can use "general open-source frameworks and the Huawei Cloud ModelArts platform to design and develop AI products" in image, speech and natural language processing. What the exam asks of you Explain how neural networks are built, trained and designed. Process and recognise images, from preprocessing to CNNs and GANs. Work with speech: recognition, text to speech, GMM-HMM and DNN-HMM models. Handle NLP tasks and methods, and the systems built on them. Understand attention, the Transformer and DeepSeek’s optimisations. Know what Huawei ModelArts does and where it is used. SECTION 03 The H13-321 Syllabus, by Weight The exam has seven domains. Three carry most of the marks: Image Processing is 28% , Natural Language Processing 22% and Speech Processing 21% - together 71%. Large-model algorithms add 12%. On a 60-question paper that is roughly 17 questions on image processing, 13 on NLP, 13 on speech and 7 on large models (our own arithmetic from the weights). Neural Network Basics 7% Image Processing 28% Speech Processing 21% Natural Language Processing 22% AI Development Trends 4% ModelArts Overview 6% Large-Model Algorithms 12% Official domain weightings for H13-321 V2.5, from the CertFun syllabus page; they match the percentages on Huawei’s certification page. Labels are shortened. Here is every topic, word for word from the H13-321 syllabus. Neither source gives per-topic weights, so treat the domain weight as your guide to how deep to go. www.certfun.com Huawei H13-321 Huawei Certified ICT Professional - AI-EI Developer (HCIP-AI-EI Developer V2.5) 3 1. It covers the three classic perception fields plus large-model basics, so it shows breadth rather than one narrow specialism. The certificate is valid for three years. To renew it, pass any HCIP- or HCIE-level written or lab exam in the AI technology direction before it expires; that extends validity by another three years. We have not quoted a salary figure, because we did not find one we could open and check, and a number we cannot trace does not belong in this guide. Why this one, specifically Professional level, with image, speech, NLP and large models in one exam. Huawei publishes free V2.5 training material, a lab guide and a mock exam. Hands-on with ModelArts, Huawei Cloud’s AI development platform. Taken at a Pearson VUE centre or online through OnVUE. SECTION 05 Getting Certified, Step by Step 1 Read the official outline on Huawei Talent The Learning tab lists every topic; the Exam tab gives format, time and pass mark. 2 Download the V2.5 training material and lab guide Both are listed under Learning Resources on the certification page. 3 Put image, NLP and speech first Together they are 71% of the exam; image processing alone is 28%. 4 Do not skip large models and ModelArts Attention, the Transformer, DeepSeek and ModelArts add up to 18%. 5 Take a timed mock exam, then book Huawei offers a V2.5 mock exam; book the real one through Pearson VUE. For extra timed practice, CertFun’s H13-321 practice exam draws on a bank of more than 185 questions, with unlimited attempts for two months, so you can find your gaps before the exam does. www.certfun.com Huawei H13-321 Huawei Certified ICT Professional - AI-EI Developer (HCIP-AI-EI Developer V2.5) 5 SECTION 06 H13-321 Sample Questions These ten come from CertFun’s H13-321 sample questions page, shown here in shuffled order and word for word as published.
