Desserts, stationary appetizers, bar services, service fees and sales tax are additional. style of service We offer the options of buffet and family style dinner service with our Simple Celebration packages. If you are interested in plated service, we are happy to write up a custom quote. labor/service staff Your package includes an on-site event manager and waitstaff who will serve your food, set your tables, and clean up afterwards. We will also pour wine and water at your dinner tables and cut your cake, at no additional fee. Labor is based on a 10-hour shift, which will cover all your needs in most cases. If your event runs longer, we can add more hours for an additional fee. Gratuity for service staff, while completely optional, is not in- cluded in your quote. bar services In order to keep things simple and cost effective, we do not offer bar services with our Simple Celebration packages. We are happy to provide recommendations though for some of our favorite bar companies, if desired. rentals We do not include any rentals in our Simple Celebration packages. However, we are happy to recommend the best local rental companies, and we will provide you with a list of your tabletop (china, glassware, flatware & family style platters) and kitchen rental needs so you have what is required to obtain a quote. Many event venues require kitchen rentals. This is referred to as a “build-out” and consists of a kitchen tent, cooking and heating equipment, prep tables and so on. We make every effort to use whatever space and equipment that the venue makes available, but the other items will need to be obtained through your rental company. tastings We host group wedding tastings approximately once a month, depending on demand. We limit tastings to a total of 6 guests, so you still have an personalized experience. menu customization While menu customization is available at Urban Palate, the pricing in the Simple Celebrations package does not apply.
