By no means is this an extensive collection concerning the subject matter of metaphysics and spirituality but to serve as a mere guide post or footnote for your research. After reading a handful of books, not as much as the great giants Ivan Vern Sertima, Dr Frances Cress Welsing or Mfundhishi Jhutyms, I wanted to put together some of the fascinating jewels I found scattered around in a neat coherent form for quick access. Likewise, to make it easier for anyone who’d be interested in esoteric knowledge as my contribution to the collective. Dr Llaila Afrika says to know something is to become one with it and to express it in thought words and actions. Thus, if you want the truth you must labor for it quite as hard as you would labor for gold (Albert Churchwood). Before we move further let’ s examine that which gives as these words. Therefore these words, numbers and pictures are not just markings but symbols that reveal a conscious reflection of nature’s complexities, man’s relation to the divine and as a mode to express higher forms of thought and perception. You can play around with this table and numerically find patterns encoded in your life, religion and the news (some of which are purposefully manufactured) but that’s a story for another day. For a symbol plus a legend within cer emony can describe a people’s philosophy. Be the light, be the truth, for those still staggering in the dark. 5 Zero, Nun, Nothing, the Infinite, Ouroboros It’ s believed that the world of matter came forth or was birthed from primordial waters. The number 0 is said to have no value yet at the same time represents the initial state of having everything. It, metaphysically speaking, has no beginning or end and thus sometimes is depicted as a snake that eats its own tail. You can stylize it as 0 or ∞ the infinity symbol which also denotes the goddess Nun in the Kemetic tree of life , if you’ re familiar with the concept of the Universe being feminine and the woman being the source of life. It’s postulated that God or The ALL wanting to know itself in diverse ways, created matter from itself and from matter other complex life forms spread out in different dimensions that lead back to The ALL! 6 Figure 2. Ra, Sun god One, the emanation, beginning, manifestation, Alpha (A), Man In ancient times God as the singular source of all was depicted as a circle with a dot or the sun. And to why the first day of the week is called Sun-Day. In Kemet (what would be present day Egypt and parts of Sudan) from the primordial waters of Nun, came God as the first principle RA. The dot was RA surrounded or enclosed by the goddess Nut/Aset/IsIs for she was the womb that gave birth to matter, Atum, Atom, Atem Amon, Amen! From the one came many, like the rays of the sun/son. In man; R is thought/mind and A is spirit so RA was never a person but an icon representing the sun and in essence the composition of man. In quantum physics, they have identified a structure that represents the building blocks of the entire universe. It’s called a tetrahedron and Klee Irwin of the code theoretic axiom postulates that reality may be pixilated at the level of space and time with all particles and forces being variant shadows of the vertex relationships in E8 which is a quasi-crystal. Sounds more to me like Atum! 8 You can fit all the other shapes at varied angles when you combine two tetrahedrons, this is a little far off my grasp but I believe the golden ration, pie and the golden mean can be extracted from the configuration. I’ll provide more information as we proceed. Another interesting thing between one and zero (the basis of our binary code) is both numbers multiplied by themselves equals themselves. Remember our table? The letter J and S numerically can be reduced to one! Figure 4. Ancient symbol of life Two, the divine pair, Union, nature, Beta (B), House From RA who is mind and spirit (two) we get Shu which is space, ether, air and Tefnut which is water (interacting medium). In short the power of The ALL manifested into space and time, then water. Woman (Isha) and Man (Ish), the positive and negative poles united in Union reflecting God. 1+1=2 hidden within as a joining force; God who creates a trinity between matter and the spiritual realm. We will expound more on the trinity and all to do with the number three next. Now, the body is a temple or to be specific, it house ’ s your soul, in fact the word Beth means house in Hebrew and like IsIs is the circle or throne, enclosure that encompasses RA/Heru/ the King etc. From the father and mother: Osiris and Isis, Brahma and Visnu, the earth and the moon and so on comes the sun. Representing the duality of nature with its opposing forces that enable change and balance like Adroa of the Lugbara who has two aspects, one dark and one light. 9 Figure 6. Dual nature of the goddess The state of duality goes even further in terms of the elements which can be grouped as the dragon; fire and air (male) and the serpent; water and earth (female). These two are in our bodies respectively as the circulatory system (tree of life) and the nervous system (tree of knowledge). You take in air through your nostrils and breathe out hot air/carbon dioxide and also produce heat. You take in water and piss out urine and are made of carbon which is an earth element, if we were to break it down in that way too. The movement of blood and the firing of neurons in your body also creates a charge which makes up part of your auric field. Figure 7. While the moon is the night sun that reflects the subconscious mind or illuminates the darkness within. In the checkerboard, white is IsIs and black is Maya/Nephthys, sisters in union. 11 Figure 10. Set was depicted as a downward facing triangle representing the South Pole while Horus was depicted as an upward facing triangle representing the North Pole. For Set or Seth was the hour the sunsets and Horus the hour of sun rise. Later the triangles were merged with Shu at the center and slowly morphed to our present day five pointed and six pointed star. Ω A You can also look at it as; your spirit and your body uniting, with your soul at the center. The masculine is Alpha A and the feminine is Omega Ω, (both sexes have opposite elements of each other at varied degrees) combine together we get the ankh symbol above. For the man is the spear/obelix/rocket that impregnates the womb/chalice/sky mother. Very many combinations can be made, these are but a few examples of the duality that resides in man and the cosmos. Three, the trinity, triangle, capstone, Generator Operator Destroyer There are multiple combination of gods as there are cultures around the world. I will only pick on a few just to give examples with Kemet being my basis for its wide spread and well ‘ googleable ’ as emcee Noreaga would say. In figure 11 we have Osiris sited with Horus to our left and IsIs to our right. You can substitute this line up with Ra-Nut-Geb, Amon-Ra-Ptah, Asar-Aset-Heru, Brahma- Vishnu-Krishna, Yhwh-Mary-Jesus, Egypt-Dogon-Ethopia (Orion-Sirius-Cassiopeia), Spirit- Heaven-Earth, Duat, Pet, Ta etc. Figure 11. Horus, Osiris, Isis The triangle was and still is the sacred symbol that depicts God, which sometimes was written as just G-d remember zero or the letter O was considered a void thus a dash substituted it at times. It comes from the German word Gott. Freemasons seem obsessed with it, alas most of their teachings they took from Africa as so did the Romans, the Greeks and countless others. 12 Figure 13. I’d say you can’t be a neighbor to someone for thousands of years and not intermarry or borrow ideas from. The Hebrew alphabet which contains 22 letters appear as flame letters derived from how fire dances and the variation of hand gestures seen in shadow projections. Let’s look at man as a trinity: Here the eye represents the higher faculty of mind/spirit, the compass (3) circle: heaven, inside the body the whirling soul, and the set square (4) at the base of the body pointing upwards to God from the generative force of the sexual organs, an incorporation of the shapes in figure 12. 13 Figure 14. You are Aleph Mem Shin, A U M manifest! 1+2=3, 12 is 4 x 3. A G enerator (able to produce life) an O perator (able to work different materials and energy) and a D estroyer (able to kill, bring to ruin, recycle matter). Tetragrammaton (IHVH) Four, the tetragrammaton, square, cube, Earth, Delta The number four is associated with IsIs, the womb and mystics say that the first human that was created was actually a woman. Ever wondered why the word Eve was chosen? Well, it’s called anagrammatic writing to conceal a deeper meaning. Let’s rearrange the letters Eve to Vee and we get the pronunciation for the alphabet V which is the 22 nd letter and in numerology 2+2=4! And from Wisdom or Nun the primordial waters God made Womb-man. 16 Yod Hé Vau Hé or YHWH is the sound of our nasal breath! From it came Jehovah. If you pronounce the word Jeh (yee) o vah in reverse in a way as to breathe out the sounds, some have claimed it sounds a little like huu hee the words for He-She in Hebrew. F eels like a stretch or maybe I’m not pronouncing it right but it’s an interesting point to note. It reminds us of the concept that in the union of masculine and feminine is God the equilibrium! If you recall Eve or Vee is depicted as the number four the divine mother or spouse represented by a cube (IsIs/Elat) which is our dimension of up-down-left-right and you being the A U M/ Aleph Mem Shin in time and space, then geometrically the chart for our world could be plotted as follows: Figure 16b. With this every person is a miniature universe with orbiting forces that push and pull at us and we chose which sphere of influence to channel our energy in. Ever considered that like Aset, IsIs, Nut, YHWH could be feminine, the cube/enclosure that surrounds you the sun/son of God? 18 Another interesting aspect that corresponds to the tetragrammatron is our DNA which is made of four proteins namely Adenine (Yod) Thymine (Hé) Cytosine (Vah) and Guanine (Hé). They are the strands that encode the building blocks of life. Figure 18. DNA strand To your right is the double helix, like two serpents entwined to each other ∞ the shape of an hour glass 8 (3+5), to the left a ladder. Freemasons conceal this wisdom within the name they assign the creator as the great architect of the universe or TGAOTU... the letter U is just the letter C rotated at 90 degrees. Let’s do some little math then Masculine ( ׀ ) Obelix, Tower, Rocket, Horus, 3 (Imagination, Intellect, Intuition) Three wise men Feminine ( - ) Womb, Cup, Sky. IsIs/Moon 4 (Fire, Earth, Air, River/Waters) The Elements God ( ׀ and - equals +) union, congress 3+4=7 (rainbow, chakras, dimensions) The ALL 19 Figure 1 9 . The four gospels (god - spells) or seasons in time All these numbers and concepts tie in to one another and can also be substituted because that’s what symbols do, they can stand for multiple thoughts or allude to other interpretations as well. For example a black cube was attributed to the planet Saturn. That ties in with the Kemetic principle of three, Ka the Spirit (mother), Ab the soul (son/daughter) and Ba soul-spirit (father) together spelling out KaAbBa like the Kaaba in Mecca. Four can also denote the chambers of the heart, the elements, directions ( four sons of Horus ), major stars in the Orion’s belt; Salph, Betelgeus, Bellatrix, Rigel, the periods of time; morning, noon, evening, night and also the seasons ... See figure 19, the cross of times , for balance + and for power x... In physics they correspond to the magnetic, gravitational, electric and dialectical (opposition between two interacting forces) forces. This field is too vast and complex for me to even try to break down. For those interested, the internet is a library onto itself so feel free to search later on. Five, the physical states, pentacles, spirit, A-L-L-A-H Five is the number assigned to spirit. If we have a right angle triangle then Horus would be 5, IsIs 4 and Osiris 3. Osiris is the god of the underworld and the afterlife he was chopped up into 14 pieces by Set but resurrected by IsIs through his seed in the form of Horus. I’m going to skip the high level trigonometry that comes with this triangle for later and focus more on Spirit here. Matter is made up of four states; solid, liquid, gas, light then a fifth one ether which most say the soul is made of, and each of these states has a particular structure in its atomic arrangement as you will see in the following picture: 20 “The FEAR of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” Proverbs 9:10 Look at the word fear a little closely. Now let’s split the letters. F-Fire E-Earth A-Air R-River/Water. The metaphysical knowledge is hidden and can only be unlocked with wisdom i.e the application of knowledge far from mere observation. What’s beautiful about this chart is that various fields of science are employed to unravel even a deeper understanding of the elements. There is chemistry, biology, physics and even psychology. This is how the mystics studied, knowledge attained in one field was easily utilized in varied areas for man’s physical, social and spiritual growth.
