While volunteering at a local hospital and a women's health clinic, Dr. Dhaliwal gained an interest in medicine. As she became exposed to chronic health concerns in her own family and familiarized herself with the healthcare system, Dr. Dhaliwal noticed that root causes of diseases were rarely treated. Lifestyle changes and long term prevention goals were also not emphasized, which resulted in the relapse of symptoms.
