A Swiss - Italian national, he has forty years of Management, Teaching, and Consulting experience. He holds a PhD in Management at the University of Geneva. The focu s of his Academia is on Cultural Intelligence (CQ). He taught in over 30 countries and is a recipient of several teaching awards. Prof. Gianasso currently teaches the TRIUM EMBA (#1 joint EMBA globally), HEC Paris EMBA (#2 EMBA globally) and several custom programs at HEC Paris. He is also Visiting Professor at Hong Kong University, the University of Geneva, and the Wealth Management Institute in Singapore. Before joining HEC Paris, he was Professor of Global Leadership and Associate Dean at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. In addition to his teaching activities, Guido Gianasso is Partner a t Cognify LLC, a growing consulting company with offices in Doha and Tbilisi. He also serves as Honorary Consul of Romania in Geneva, as Senior Advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia, and on the Board of Trustees of the American University of Phnom Pe nh. Professor Gianasso is a regular speaker at International conferences and consults with leading organisations. Among his clients are companies such as Ooredoo, Nestle, HP, Alstom, STMicroelectronics, Moody's, Bridgestone, Chopard, Temasek as well as several Swiss banks. Before moving to Education, Prof. Gianasso worked for three decades as senior corporate executive. He was CHRO and Executive Committee member in the Aviation and Security sectors, helping CEOs driving major change programs. From 2003 to 2013 he worked as V ice - President, Human Capital and Executive Committee member with the International Air Transport Association (IATA). From 2009 to 2013, he was also Managing Director of the IATA Training and Development Institute (ITDI) a large organisation delivering trai ning programs for 50.000 aviation professionals every year. In his distinguished international career, Prof. Gianasso served as Vice - President of the Diplomatic Club of Geneva; on the Eurocontrol DR Supervisory Board (Belgium); as Senior Advisor to the Romanian Minister for Foreign Affairs (Romania); as Senior Advi sor to the Cambodian Minister for Post and Telecommunications (Cambodia); and on the IMD Executive Education Advisory Council (Switzerland) Prof. Gianasso lived in Qatar, Singapore, Switzerland, Italy, India, Cuba, and the US. He is fluent in English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Romanian.
