My school was based in NJ, and I was able to easily find and set up a session with a professional based in Texas who worked in the energy sector. Much to my chagrin, students learned more in that hour about energy policy and economics from them, than what I was able to share with them on my own.” Chris M. High School APES Teacher Nepris lesson planning for the AP Classroom 1. Assign a video to prepare students for a future live session. Task them to reflect on what they learned using an activity sheet from the Nepris Reinforcement Tools 2. Tell students you intend to invite a professional into the classroom virtually, and task them with generating a list of questions for the professional to answer. Students will be able to generate more intentional questions based on their exposure to the industry from the previously assigned video. 3. Set up a Teacher Requested Session and choose a selection of student generated questions to paste into Step 4 of the process. We suggest that you input questions from less outgoing students ahead of time, and push the more outgoing students to ask their questions directly to the presenter during the live session. This will maximize student engagement during the session. Nepris for Advanced Placement Courses
