17+ Ford Raptor Reverse Harness Install Instructions 1) Remove the 2 8MM Bolts from the Passenger Rear Tail Light and pull firmly back on the tail light to release the assembly. 2) Remove the Tail Light connector plug by pushing inward on the plug, depressing the tab, and then pulling back on the plug. Ver. 1 3/9/2021 Q. Bergeron 3) On the Tail light plug, locate the Green with Brown stripe wire from Pin #4. Place the crimp barrel connector over the Green with Brown stripe wire and squeeze the connector closed with a pair of pliers. The wire should be aligned with the teeth of the crimp so that when the connector is squeezed, the wire goes into the middle. Ver. 1 3/9/2021 Q. Bergeron 4) Run the harness as shown below from each light, then along the passenger frame rail up to the upfitter wires in the engine bay. The white wire at the “Y” will run up to the tail light plug and connect to the barrel crimp from step 3. 5) Inside the engine bay, Locate the battery ground on the fender between the fuse box and battery tray. Remove the 8mm bolt and place the ground eyelet on the bolt and retighten. Ver. 1 3/9/2021 Q. Bergeron 6) Connect the Red wire to your desired upfitter switch to manually activate the reverse lights any time you desire. This will also power the OEM reverse lights in your tail lights for additional output. Refer to the “Raptor Supplemental” booklet in your Ford owners manual to reference which wire coincides with which switch. 7) Test that everything is in working order and then reinstall your tail light.
