Jacobson Theater Start - up Procedure 1) Press the white switch on the power conditioner in the upward direction (see arrow below) to start up the equipment in the rack. You will hear each outlet mechanically switch and see each unit start up in sequence. This will power on all necessary equipment except for the Denon AV Receiver (see step 2) 2) Power on the Denon AV receiver via the power button in the bottom left hand corner (see arrow below). The main LCD screen will light up displaying the w ords ‘Power On’ (also pictured below) 3) Turn the left knob to verify your source is set to ‘Game 1’ (see arrow bel ow). 4) Turn the right - side knob and set the volume to - 6 DB (see arrow below, also label in photo). You are setting the master volume for the theater. This is not to be used as a volume adjustment for the microphones, computer, etc. Think of this knob as defining the maximum volume of th e theater. 5) For further volume adjustments, use the touch panel (pictured below). Media Sources (the left most + and – buttons) by default will adjust the volume of the Mac/ProPresenter software. Also pictured below are individual volume controls for all four wireless microphones. 6) Power on the Mac via the button on the rear left - hand side of the display. Click the CMA Theater account on the left of the screen (see photo below) and sign in with the password 0909. Wait for ProPresenter to start (or manually open it via the dock), then navigate to the currently used playlist on the left. Scroll up to the top and click the very first item. Verify that both ‘audience’ and ‘stage’ circles on the right are lit up green – otherwise the projector won’t display the proper content once it’s started up. 7) Grab this projector remote (pictured below), walk into the main theater area, face the projector, and press the on button. 8) Watch for 3 green lights underneath the projector as it boots up to verify it powered on and is receiving a video signal. 9) If you followed all of these procedures properly, you should see and hear scheduled content playing back from the Mac in Ja cobson Theater. Be sure to test microphone and media levels well in advance to any events, performances, etc. Congratulations!
