Overview PetmoodAI is a pet wellness app that uses your device's camera and artificial intelligence to analyze your pet's mood and well-being. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not require user accounts, and we do not collect or store personally identifiable information on our servers. Information We Process When you use the App, the following types of data may be processed: • Pet Photos: Images captured via your device's camera or selected from your photo library are sent to a third-party AI service for analysis. Photos are transmitted securely and are not stored on our servers. • Pet Names and Profiles: Names and profile information you provide for your pets are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device. • Health and Mood Records: Analysis results (mood level, energy, stress, bonding, sleep indicators, insights, and recommendations) are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to any external server. • Notification Preferences: If you grant notification permission, your preferred reminder time is stored locally on your device. • Purchase Information: Subscription transactions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or have access to your payment details. Use of OpenAI To provide intelligent pet mood analysis, photos you capture or select are sent to OpenAI's API for real-time processing. The transmitted data does not include any personally identifiable information. OpenAI may temporarily retain the data for processing in accordance with their own privacy policies. Camera and Photo Library Access The App requests access to your device's camera and photo library solely for the purpose of capturing or selecting pet photos for analysis. Camera and photo library permissions can be managed at any time through your device's Settings. If you deny camera access, you may still use the App by selecting photos from your library. Push Notifications The App may request permission to send push notifications to remind you to check on your pet's mood. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers. You can enable or disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings. Data Storage and Security All pet profiles, health records, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate external servers or databases that store your personal data. Photo data sent to OpenAI for analysis is transmitted over encrypted channels (HTTPS). You can delete all your data at any time from within the App's Settings. Subscriptions PetmoodAI offers optional premium subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. All billing, payment processing, and subscription management are handled by Apple. Children's Privacy The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no personal data is stored on our servers, no such data can be retained.
