It remains the sole voice of the Private Hospital Industry with a current membership of 166 private hospitals from Semenanjung Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Our association is recognised by the Ministry of Health and various Government bodies as the representative of the Private Hospital Sector as it has all of the hospital groups and standalone as its members. Needless to say, the Ministry of Health and other Government bodies have always looked upon and engaged with APHM in all matters concerning the provision of healthcare in the Nation. APHM has been successful in raising issues of concern with the Government to its members and the industry at large and with its support, has continued to play a very significant role in providing private hospital services to the Nation by promoting patient safety and good clinical governance in its member hospitals.
