He is also noted as a founder of the non-profit FIRST organization for advancing science and technology-dedicated education. As a sophomore at WPI, Kamen invented a pocket-sized, wearable medical device that delivered precisely measured doses of medications, such as insulin, over extended periods of time. In 1976, Kamen dropped out of college to found his first company, AutoSyringe, to produce and market his insulin pump. In 1981, Kamen sold AutoSyringe to health-care giant Baxter International. The same year, he founded DEKA (DE-an KA-men) Research and Development Corp., a firm dedicated to creating robotic mobility solutions for persons with disabilities. By age 30, Dean Kamen had become a multimillionaire. Jeffrey Epstein Wikipedia : Jeffrey Epstein was an American financier and convicted child sex offender. He began his professional career as a teacher at the Dalton School. After his dismissal from the school in 1976, he entered the banking and finance sector, working at Bear Stearns in various roles, before starting his own firm. Epstein cultivated an elite social circle and procured many women and girls whom he and his associates sexually abused. Nadia Marcinko Wikipedia : Nadia Marcinko, also known as Nada Marcinkova (born 1986), is a Slovak-born pilot, flight instructor, and the CEO of Aviloop, an aviation website. She is known for being a co-conspirator of financier and registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as well as Ghislaine Maxwell. Marcinko has reportedly been missing since early 2024. Palm Beach Post : Epstein bragged about buying model Nadia Marcinkova from her family as a 15-year-old and he dubbed her his Slovakian "sex slave," according to Palm Beach police records. The records also indicate she had sex with some of the young girls while Epstein watched. Her lawyers told CNN in 2019 that she had been "severely traumatized" as yet another Epstein victim. She signed the visitation sheet at the Palm Beach County stockade 67 times to visit Epstein on the weekends while he was incarcerated for 13 months from 2008 to 2009. She was still living at his home on El Brillo Way in Palm Beach in 2009 when she was cited for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Epstein put her on his visitors list, but a spokesperson from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said the only physical contact allowed there was a hug or a handshake and that "there's no alone time." Now she's featured on the website of her company, Aviloop LLC, which does branding and marketing for aviation firms. She now goes by the last name Marcinko. 3 Maureen Toohey NDIA : Maureen served as General Counsel for DEKA Research & Development Corporation. Maureen also practiced intellectual property litigation in the Silicon Valley Office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Toohey received a B.S. in Chemistry from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD as a member of the Class of 1988. After serving on active duty in the United States Navy, she attended law school at the University of Virginia School of Law and received her J.D. in 1996. Additionally, Maureen is an advisor to FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring young people to pursue a career in science and engineering; is the Secretary of the Board of FIRST Global (an internal “Olympic-style” STEM competition); and is on the Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Greater New England Chapter. Christine Negroni : Kamen already had a live-in girlfriend, DEKA’s former general counsel, Maureen Toohey, who still represents DEKA in legal and financial matters. “It was no secret to the entire company that they are a couple,” a former DEKA employee told me of Kamen and Toohey, a perception confirmed by others. Though Toohey told me she left her job as general counsel in 2007 to open her own law firm, her office remains at DEKA’s headquarters and DEKA is still a client. “Maureen was included in every meeting with every outside counsel and with every company that invested in DEKA,” an insider told me. It would appear that Toohey was also helping with Aviloop because when Marcinko decided to register the company in New Hampshire, she falsely claimed as her residence the home owned by Toohey on Kidder Street in Manchester. Did Toohey know about the false filing? Toohey said she did not, nor did she share the house with Marcinko. This answer is somewhat disingenuous since Toohey didn’t live in that house either. Was she directed by Kamen to allow Marcinko to use her address for purposes of incorporating Aviloop in New Hampshire? Toohey has declined to answer further questions. So not only did Marcinko not live on Kidder Street neither did Toohey, who lives with Kamen according to DEKA employees. Sarah Kellen Palm Beach Post : Sarah Kellen Vickers scheduled most of the appointments at Epstein's Palm Beach mansion, according to a mass of documents from the 2006-08 case. She also paid the girls who came to the house between $200 and $300 for the "massages." Several witnesses called her out by name when they testified in Ghislaine Maxwell's trial. The judge during Maxwell's sentencing called her a "criminally responsible participant," but Vickers has never been charged. She also has been named in several civil suits as a defendant. Vickers started work in 2002 at Epstein's Manhattan mansion as well as at the Palm Beach mansion. This was nearing the end of Maxwell's role of procuring girls for Epstein as Maxwell was not investigated in the early case. 4 One Epstein survivor, Carolyn Andriano, testified at Maxwell's trial that Vickers at least once took nude photos of her before an appointment that turned into sexual abuse by Epstein and that she was paid hundreds of dollars for. Andriano was found dead of an accidental overdose in a West Palm Beach hotel room in 2023. Vickers, 46, has described herself as a victim of Epstein and Maxwell who was "raped and abused weekly." Epstein paid many of his victims to recruit other girls. He reportedly required three a day. Vickers scheduled appointments with many of the victims recruited from schools in Palm Beach County, including Royal Palm Beach High, where at least 15 students were victims. Today, she is married to NASCAR champion Brian Vickers, but he filed for divorce in February 2025, according to Miami-Dade County court records. The case remains open. Brian Vickers owns a $6.5 million home in Miami Beach but has put it up for sale. Chauntae Davies The Sun : Chauntae Davies was a 21-year-old trainee massage therapist in LA when she treated Ghislaine Maxwell at Beverly Hills’ Four Seasons Hotel. Hours later Maxwell — accused of procuring young girls for Epstein — asked her to take a private jet to the billionaire Jeffrey Epstein’s home in Palm Beach, Florida. Chauntae claims that during their first massage session, the ex-Wall Street banker performed a sex act on himself in front of her. She says she was “manipulated” into returning by Epstein and Maxwell. Within weeks she was jetting round the world on his private jet and on to his island of Little Saint James. The plane, dubbed the “Lolita Express”, was infamous for its orgies. Ghislaine Maxwell Wikipedia : Ghislaine Maxwell is a British former socialite and convicted child sex offender. In 2021 she was found guilty of child sex trafficking and other offences in connection with the deceased financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The following year, she was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment in the United States. For the next two years, Epstein flew her around the world on his private jets and repeatedly raped and molested her at his homes in New York, Florida, the US Virgin Islands and Paris.
