STAKEHOLDE R MEETING MINUTES Monday 20 th March 2023 online Attendees: IEM Directors: Susan Spibey Bob Ferneyhough Chris Pateman Diane Earles Tim Owen Founding Fellows/Partners: Tim Nichol, LJMU, Founding Partner Members: Fotios Vasileiou, representing AEME Guests: Marie Townshend Apologies: Candice Kass, Founding Fellow Sven Bossu, Founding Fellow Lou Kiwanuka, Founding Fellow Clare MacKay, UWE, Founding Partner Jonathan Harvey, University of Suffolk, Founding Partner 1) Minutes of the previous meeting Approved 2) Matters arising not covered in the agenda Susan reported that we are now waiting on TMI to finalise our ‘light touch’ agreement with them and the new AEME representative will be appointed at their next meeting. 3) Welcome and Update s Members : 100 * + LinkedIn Followers: 1 2 83 + Twitter Followers: 2 2 3 + * 8 8 Affiliates , 6 Founding Fellows , 5 Founding Partners, 1 Patron Bank balance is £977.11 , after having paid for the website and professional standards 4) Update on Recognition Tim N reported on progress, next steps of which is signing up AEME members ready for the next academic year. Tim also offered to host the first student event and Fotios congratulated the team on the new website. ACTION: Tim to send final documentation to Diane Diane to get recognition documentation onto the website 5) Professional Standards Marie congratulated the team on the documentation. Fees were agreed as follows: Student/Graduate £25 Affiliate £50 Associate £100 Member £200 Fellow £400 There was also a discussion regarding the ongoing relationship with Founding Fellows (to be made Honorary Fellows) and Founding Partners (to be given the first Recognition awards) and the ongoing appointment of Honorary Fellows by invitation of the Board. ACTION: Diane to work with Rebecca and Rachel on setting up the members area and graded membership applications 6) Any Other Business Diane reported that Andy Green has offered to help develop the PR strategy and proposed asking Jane Lomas to manage the day to day, which was agreed. ACTION: Diane to speak to Jane about PR role 7) Date of next meeting: Monday 17 th April at 4pm online
