The goal was to design a visual identity that follows the same principles as of their product with praise to raw material. As a major company with multiple sub-brands, the main goal was to re-design the identity to represent unity and uniformity. PROJECTS EXPERIENCE Bariq is a startup contracting company based in KSA. Bariq means “Flicker” in Arabic, as a startup company with big ambitions to reach success, I managed to design the logo on an inclined angle to illustrate the gradual ascendancy while emphasizing using strong contrast between black white, and shades of gray with the flickering statement using GOLD as the shine factor. PROJECTS EXPERIENCE With color one obtains an energy that seems to stem from Witchcraft PowerRide is a unique indoor cycling experience, a specialized fitness training facility, and event management located in Cairo, Egypt. The Jersey design was assigned to me, representing Egypt in a Triathlon held in Eastern Europe, Slovenia. The design’s idea is simply a representation of the environment the triathlon took place in “Rough terrain & Water”, using both rough and soft angles in addition to the accordance to peak “ Winning”. 8 Power Ride, Jersey Design. As part of a larger collection, Arabesque is a bespoke Egypt based e-liquids production company. In collaboration with Cloud vapor co. a set of diverse collections, they have been successfully launched to the vaping market as a niche product. Brand successors; Arabesque Limited edition, Gems & Iris. Gems is a subsidiary product from Arabesque Liquids, originally only the name was provided by the clients. The final design was presented in both black and white options; 60ML & 30ML. The majority of gemstones are formed by metamorphism. This is when minerals are forced together under great pressure and heat usually by tectonic plates moving underneath each other. The minerals are forced together and they metamorphose into different minerals, sometimes without melting under the effects of water, air, and heat. Naming the product was inspired by different types of gems so as for the color profile to match the gem as well as the flavor profile. Gold was used as a highlight to the package titles and Exclusivity. 9 Arabesque E-liquid; 60ML., Packaging Design & Branding. PROJECTS EXPERIENCE Less is more , More is bore M.M is a makeup artist based in Cairo, Egypt who is establishing a startup business with bigger dreams of starting a cosmetics production company. The client is a firm believer of less is more and bias to all-natural makeup. The goal was to create a bespoke nude visual identity to represent and embrace the beauty within a natural light yet fresh look. The logo design was inspired by the client’s name initials while fused with a makeup smooth makeup application and femininity. 10 Magy Mohsen, Makeup artist/ Cosmetic Startup, Visual Identity design. PROJECTS EXPERIENCE DermalMD is an all American Dermatology company specializing in body care products. PROJECTS EXPERIENCE MADesign is a Kuwait based architectural and interior design company that specializes in various market sectors, including residential, corporate, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use. PROJECTS EXPERIENCE Baroue is Kuwait’s first 69K meter squared One-stop- store for Kids providing the superb quality and variety of products and services for kids up to the age of 12 including a toy store, indoor play area, and snow city. Tasked to redesign their store logo to stand out as more vibrant and active with a youthful soul, during the design process there were further changes to the brief by adding the snow city. Children tend to be attracted to the bright block colors; primary colors red, yellow, and blue, as well as secondary colors. As their eyes are not completely developed yet, therefore perceiving these colors better than fainter shades. Bright and contrasting colors stand-out more in their field of vision. As children constantly strive to make sense of their environments, stark and bright objects are more stimulating and attractive. Letter themed characters were introduced as part of the brand as a simple method of education and ease of resemblance creating a bond between the visitor/ child and the brand. 13 Baroue, Visual Identity Design. PROJECTS EXPERIENCE AYMAN SHAW DESIGN STUDIO A.S initials for Ayman Shawki design studio which is a Cairo based architecture & interior design studio, whose work in influenced by the all-time famous architect Zaha Hadid. She is famous for her bold and sticking design statements. The approach was to design a brand that stands out in a crowded design market; taking a minimal approach while maintaining clarity, boldness in color choices, and fluidity in form. A second alternative for the logo design, keeping the same brief in mind while trying a different design approach of an embossed softer futuristic feel. The design is built to present Ayman Shawki’s initials in a very smart and innovative way built on subtracted composition yet presented as one unit, suiting a very high- end audience which is the core aim of this re-branding process. A brand designed so perfectly to suit a modern female with an exquisite taste for fashion. Based on simplicity and elegance I developed the name representing their future clientele; Full of spirit and enthusiasm. By definition Verve means; the spirit and enthusiasm animating artistic composition or performance. Derived from the brand’s meaning I wanted to present it in the best way possible; with life and beauty. The plantation was the mere reflection of Verve which is the perfect representation of my client. Why plantation you ask? It’s random by nature yet organized in every detail, full of life and spirit with endless shades of beauty. Constantly growing and prospering; this is their Motto at Verve wear. PROJECTS EXPERIENCE Pommier Le Traiteur is a gourmet French- based catering business, specializing in healthy food. The identity was designed using 3 circles representing the plates/ dishes (according to the brief it is everyone’s right to eat healthily) in addition to the 3 types of serves they offer while using the apple and the color green as a representation to wellbeing/ health. 17 Pommier Le Traiteur; Catering, Visual Identity Design. PROJECTS EXPERIENCE Triton is a swimming academy targeting all age groups and both genders, my goal was to present the visual identity as a fresh energetic unisex entity.
