One of the main goals of the Club was to create an International Rowing Center that would serve Club’s needs and ambitions. This large athletic infrastructure completed with the occasion of the Mediterranean Rowing Championships 1991, and developed for the Nation’s Rowing Cup of 1993 and 1998 and recently for the 2019 European Rowing u23 Championships. Tonia S vai er, who successfully represented our country in three consecutive Olympic Games (Seoul, Atlanta, Barcelona). Panagiotis Miliotis and Angeliki Gremou who represented Greece at the 2000 Sydney Summer Olympics. Yannis Tsilis and Giorgos Tzialas, who together with the Men's Quadruple, took fourth place in the 2012 London Summer Olympics and eighth place in the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics. FISA President Jean-Christophe Roland and Chairman of the Executive Board Matt Smith expressed their "sincere thanks" for hosting the event, which set new records.
