The purpose of this report is to analyse the BIM models based on the following criteria: • Compliance with the BYUK suite of BIM documents 113503 BYUK XX XX XP W 0001 BIM Execution Plan S2 P06 113503 BYUK XX XX XP W 0002 Naming Convention and BIM Status/Revision Protocol S2 P07 113503 BYUK XX XX XP W 0004 MPDT (Model Production Delivery Table) S2 P05 2 BYUK’s BIM Review 2.1 BIM MODEL NAMING & STATUS COMPLIANCE The architectural BIM Model uploaded to 4P CDE in .rvt format on 9 th November has the following name: 113503-RAD-Q-ZZ-M3-YF-0001 2.1.1 PROJECT NAMING CONVENTION All the codes within the file name have been correctly applied as per ‘Naming Convention and BIM Status/Revision Protocol’. Description should be added at the end of the file name: ‘BIM_Model’ 2.1.2 STATUS – SUITABILITY AND REVISION COMPLIANCE The current BIM Model has been uploaded in 4P CDE with S3 suitability code and P02 revision. The suitability code is correctly applied as this is an Issue for Review and Comment. The revision code is related to the suitability status of the current issue, therefore correct. 2.2 COVER SHEET The FF&E BIM model issued in .rvt format is not provided with a splash/cover sheet as per ‘113503-BYUK-XX-XX-XP-W- 0002-Naming Convention and BIM Status/Revision Protocol’. 2.3 COORDINATE SYSTEM & GRIDS The BIM Execution Plan developed by BYUK defines a coordinate system to be shared in the models. BIM Review Report Sidmouth College Page 4 of 5 The FF&E BIM model is not provided with a grid lines system and project point as per BEP, therefore it is difficult to check if the model is coordinated with the other BIM models developed by the project team. 2.4 BIM MODEL LEVELS Levels are created within the BIM Model as defined in BIM Execution Plan. 2.5 BIM OBJECT NAMING COMPLIANCE Within the FF&E BIM Model can be identified series of objects which doesn’t completely follow the naming convention as defined in the BIM Execution Plan. Below are some examples: 2.6 BEP SCHEDULE SETUP COMPLIANCE The FF&E BIM model contain schedule setup but they are not fully compliant with the requirements defined the BIM Execution Plan. 2.7 TIDP (TASK INFORMATION DELIVERY PLAN) The TIDP available in 4P CDE, document reference 113503-RAD-XX-XX-TP-YF-0001, has not been updated. 2.8 SPECIFIC 3D EXPORT VIEW SETUP BIM Review Report Sidmouth College Page 5 of 5 The BIM model doesn’t have a 3D export view setup. This must be created as per BIM Execution Plan. 2.9 MPDT ATTRIBUTE COMPLETION The FF&E BIM Model complies with the level of information required at Stage 3 for objects/components as it is defined in the MPDT.
