It also provides a walkthrough of the customer experience for completing eligibility validation and securing the eligibility validation certificate. You will need this certificate in order to receive charity pricing. This training is aimed at partners and resellers who sell Open Charity. Objectives 1. Introduction 2. Requirements for selling Open Charity Requirements for selling Open Charity There are no exceptions to the following requirements: You can sell Microsoft products using Open Charity pricing only to eligible nonprofit customers. Customer eligibility is determined by Microsoft Philanthropies via the processes described in this training. Partners/resellers must have a valid eligibility validation certificate received directly from Microsoft before selling Open Charity to a customer. ▪ The partners/resellers will receive the certificate via email from ngooffer@microsoft.com ▪ The certificate is valid for two years; the expiration date is included on the certificate. ▪ Expired certificates are not valid; if the certificate is expired, the customer must follow the process described in this training to send a new certificate to the partner/reseller. Experience for customers without an O365 nonprofit tenant Customers without O365 In the next few slides you will see the steps required to complete eligibility validation and secure the eligibility validation certificate. It refers to customers that have not completed non - profit registration directly with Microsoft. These customers will not have an O365 Non - profit tenant, which is created during non - profit registration. Sign - up 1. Go to the Microsoft nonprofits page and select ‘Get started’. 1 Sign - up 1.
