Creating a variety of formats of adverts. Scope of my input: Creating a series of simple adverts that could be repurposed with different copy and different media bookings. Skills utilised: Art direction Design Artwork for press Press advertising The Homeware Edit Final 12pp brochure Client: Barnardo’s Retail Project description: To produce a brochure showcasing photography of a ‘pre-loved’ homeware collection taking style influence from high end retailers Scope of my input: I presented intital concepts to the client and delivered final brochure. Artwork adaptation for in-store promotion and social assets.This project also included providing bilingual alternates for the Barnardo’s store in Wales. Scope of my input: Developing a variety of concepts that highlighted and complimented the direct messaging. Finding a visual metaphor that showed this clearly, without relying on stock photography as these can be very cliche for this subject matter. Skills utilised: Art direction Conceptual development Vector illustration Branding Artwork for print Out-of-home Elstree open day Client: The Wellington Hospital at Elstree Waterfront Project description: Localised outdoor advertising to publicise that patients can be treated by The Wellington Hospital consultants close to them, using an open day as an entry point. Scope of my input: Presenting and developing multiple concepts, seeing the artwork through from initial idea to final execution. The difficulty here was balancing the dual message, so the decision was made to lean favour of the open day as the positioning meant it would be seen by a highly-localised audience. Scope of my input: Presentation of a number of initial ideas, plus development of chosen concepts including colour scheme and example assets, as well as advising on print and promotional items. Scope of my input: This was a research-led project, responding to a complex subject and also highly experimental, both for me and the team at AnNex as this was a new initiative there.
