Jeremiah Denton and the Blink That Said TORTURE It is the most famous Morse transmission ever sent without a key. In May 1966, a captured American pilot used a television camera, his eyelids and the code to tell the truth his mouth could not. The interview Denton, shot down in 1965, was forced into a propaganda interview. While answering politely, he blinked in a strange rhythm. Naval intelligence reviewing the film realised the blinks were Morse: - --- .-. - ..- .-. . - T-O-R-T-U-R-E, repeated. What it proved It was the first hard confirmation that American prisoners in North Vietnam were being tortured, and it reached Washington from inside the enemy's own broadcast. Denton later received the Navy Cross and became a US Senator. Translate any text to Morse code, play it as sound and download the audio free at: https://morsecodeworks.com/
