iBase Privacy Policy Effective August 3, 2026 · Applies to iBase for iPhone, iPad, and Mac Summary iBase does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. Everything you type stays on your device. Information We Collect None. iBase does not collect personal data. The developer has no servers and receives no information about you or how you use the app. Specifically, the app does not collect: • Your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information • Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or IP addresses • Location data • Usage analytics, crash telemetry, or diagnostic reports sent to the developer • Contacts, photos, calendars, health data, or files outside the app Information Stored on Your Device iBase saves the numbers you enter, together with the base you entered them in and a timestamp, so you can revisit them from the app's history. This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device database, and is protected by your device's own security and encryption. It is never transmitted to the developer or to any third party. You can delete individual entries or clear the entire history at any time from within the app. Deleting iBase from your device removes all of its stored data. iCloud Sync The current version of iBase does not use iCloud. A future version may offer optional iCloud sync so your history is available across your own devices. If that feature ships and you choose to enable it, the data described above would be stored in your private iCloud database , governed by your Apple Account settings and Apple's privacy policy. The developer would still have no access to it, and this policy would be updated before any such feature is released. Network Access iBase performs all number-base conversion locally on your device. The app makes no network requests of its own and functions fully offline. Third Parties iBase contains no third-party software development kits, advertising networks, or analytics services. No data is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to third parties, because no data is collected. If you obtained the app through the App Store, Apple may collect information about your download and purchase, and may provide the developer with aggregate, anonymous sales and performance statistics that cannot identify you. That collection is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not this one. Children's Privacy iBase is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data at all, it does not create the risks that children's privacy laws such as COPPA are designed to address. Your Rights Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to know whether it is sold. Because the developer holds no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf, and no data is ever sold or shared for advertising. Data stored on your device remains entirely under your control and can be removed at any time through the app or by deleting the app. Changes to This Policy If this policy changes — for example, when optional iCloud sync is introduced — the updated version will be published with a new effective date before the corresponding app update is released. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
