Rather than a traditional depiction, the dragon appears as a dreamlike creature formed by fl owing shapes, vibrant colours, and expressive lines, echoing the spontaneous energy of gra ffi ti while retaining the richness of illustration. The dragon’s body unfolds across the wall like a living composition, surrounded by organic forms, abstract elements, and imaginative textures that blur the boundary between creature and environment. Diana Ordóñez) is a Colombian street artist, illustrator, and muralist who has become one of the most recognisable fi gures in the Latin American street art scene. Based in Bogotá, her work celebrates colour, imagination, and nature through vibr ant compositions populated by expressive characters and fantastical creatures that inhabit spaces somewhere between the magical and the mystical. Ledania’s visual language blends gra ffi ti with illustration and contemporary muralism. Her scenes often unfold like improvised dreamscapes, where fl uid shapes, playful faces, and abstract elements intertwine to create energetic and emotionally rich environ ments. This distinctive style re fl ects both her classical training and her roots in street culture. She earned a Master’s degree in Visual and Plastic Arts from Ponti fi cia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, while simultaneously developing her practice throug h years of tagging and painting gra ffi ti under the name Ledania. Her artist name is derived from the union of “Leda”, the mythological fi gure from Greek mythology seduced by Zeus, and her own name, creating a persona that re fl ects both myth and identity. Today, Ledania’s career extends far beyond Colombia. She has exhib ited and painted internationally, participating in major events such as the Curitiba Biennial in Brazil, Art Expo Malaysia, and the Artscape Festival in Sweden.
