Our idea is to transform the University research publications into a form that the general public can consume and benefit from. In doing so, you will be contributing to a library of videos aimed at helping people transform their lives Job Title : Learning Content Research er and Developer Job Summary : We are lo oking for a talented person to create educational video and written content. The successful candidate should also be detail - focused and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Th ere are multiple topics under each project, from parenting skills, to influence and habit changing (behavioural and social science related) . The re might be multiple hir ing for this role and topics will be assigned to each talent after getting selected in the i nterview Responsibilities and Duties 1. Conduct res earch : Read relevant books and re search articles ( publ ished by academics in peer - reviewed journals such as Springer, Elsevier , Sage, and so forth ) Go through online tutorials from experts (if available) Find the patterns of similarities and differences bet ween the subject matter from these different courses. K eep notes. 2. Text content creation : Write original scr ipts and articles from the research findings Plagiarism is a legal offence here The aim is to compile all the knowledge in one place and mak e su re it ’s up to date 3. Video content creation : Using the scripts , r ecord yourself in front of a video , explaining these evidence - based concepts in a How - to format and without using any jarg ons (imagine your audience is a ten - year - old ). 4. There are technical speci fications of the video /audio . Make sure you ask for the video /audio guidelines document Afte r the recording i s done , edit the video and audio using appropriate video editing software. Submit the video using WeTransfer . Do the revisions as and when suggested 5. Reporting: Update your assigned supervis or about your progress every alternate day about the progress. 6. Be flexible. There might be changes with the responsibilities, duties or other aspects of the work. We are seeking someone who is flexible to adjust and adopt. Qualifications and Skills We do n o t have special qualification or eligibility criteria But this role craves for someone who loves t o read and teach. Having a t leas t a bachelor ’s degree in the subject of content creation is required. Although, we are open to consider ing exceptional circumstances. More importantly, we seek someone who speaks well in English (and in front of a camera) because the audience might be native English speakers. The applicants will be evaluated based on how engaging and eloquent they are in the test video. Reimbursement The candidate will be pa id £100 or ₹ 10,000/ - for completing one project We do not dictate the numb er of workin g hours because it varies from person to person. People who are more comfortable in front of a camera will record it in one shot , while someone shy might need to take several re - takes. Therefore, w e pay based on the output. We also do not fix the duration of the content you will deliver to us. The minimum duration of the ex pected deliver able video content is 2.5 hours A l though our top perform ers usually submit a lot more than the minimum expected of 2.5 hours (up to 16 hours) , they are offered more projects During the interview round, you will be asked about your plan , how much duration of the edited content you intend to submi t , and by which date I t is one of the important factors of our recruitment decisions. Time - commitment Note that it might take 10 hours of work to produce 10 minutes of qual ity video for a beginner because it i nvolves reading, scripting, recording, and editing So, make sure t o consider that while quoting the duration , of course, you want to produce and how m any days you will need (when asked during the interview ) Getting into the interview round Applicants with the most engaging and eloquent test - videos will be invited for the interview round. So submitting the test video is the first step of applying. In that, the person is req uired to explain a concept for 6 0 seconds. Make sure your video is compliant with our standards. There is a guideline for that. Ask the person from our team for that if you don ’ t have it already One tip we can offer is after you shoot the test video (and eventually, the recorded videos ) , make sure you give it a watch the next day and ask yourself if you feel bored or feel like skipping it forward ?
