miaDMSA - CAS 142609-62-9 / 141056-24-8 FAQ: Question 1: Who is the manufacturer? Manufacturer is Website: https://www.fandachem.com/miadmsa-chelator.html The sale of this product is under lab/reference use only. And thus the use described is for ‘Pets’. 142609-62-9 / 141056-24-8 (Monoisoamyl 2,3-Dimercaptosuccinic Acid) will be called the compound or miaDMSA Question 2: What Heavy Metals are favouribly removed by miaDMSA? arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium, and gallium arsenide Question 3: What essential Metals does miaDMSA remove? Copper, Manganese, Vanadium, Cobalt (B12), Potassium, Chromium, Selenium, Zinc Question 4: What are the conditions not ideal for miaDMSA chelation? Do not supplement Selenium the same day administering miaDMSA to your pet If one is trying to remove Gadolinium from their pet - miaDMSA should not be the first option instead HOPO or DPTA IVs are the best. miaDMSA has relatively weaker chelation effectiveness against: Gadolinium, uranium, Tin, Barium and Antimony, consider alternatives. If the pet’s eGFR (Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) is too low, miaDMSA is mostly cleared by renal pathway, if eGFR is compromised miaDMSA is not recommended If pet’s Bile production is extremely blocked - bile is the stuff that poop brown If the pet has serious copper depletion or anemia - this can be checked by blood tests and obvious signs of Copper depletion and Low Iron. If the pet is still exposed to heavy metal contamination such as dental mercury amalgams. Question 5: What sort of Preparation work do I need to get best experience out of miaDMSA for my pet? Address any contraindications stated above. Address any metabolic problems that your pet has such as Adrenals and Thyroid. (Out of scope of this FAQ) Improve Bile flow if needed. Address any serious mineral deficiencies your pet has! If your pet needs to remineralize, start with minerals that have a safer profile of reaction towards minerals with higher potential of reaction. Remember when your pet has heavy metals their reaction to normal essential minerals can be quite strong and violent, additionally your pet might have metabolic problems in really making the minerals and vitamins work. This FAQ will not go into details as things such as dosage, source or form and is out of scope. The best advice is to start low and slow, and add one by one. Use common sense, symptom analysis, tools like HTMA, Oligoscan and Blood tests to determine what to supplement and what is deficient. This is out of scope of this FAQ. Safer Minerals: Electrolytes (Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium and Calcium) Zinc Chromium Molybdenum Boron Lithium Strontium Cobalt (B12) Vanadium Trace minerals such as Germanium and Rubidium Riskier Minerals: Selenium Iodine Copper Manganese Iron Riskier Minerals may be tolerated when chelation is in progress. Also during chelation body requirements increase See https://miadmsa.com/ for example Question 6: What is the recommended starting dosage and frequency? miaDMSA has high effectiveness in that it is at least 5 times stronger than regular DMSA. If the pet has never did any serious chelation the safest approach is: Start with 1mg and then wait 2 days - write down any reactions the pet has If no reaction, go for 1mg every 4 hours (4-5 doses) and then wait 2 days - write down any reactions pet has. If no reaction you can essentially start doubling so next time it will be 2mg every 4 hours (4-5 doses) and then wait 2 days You should back track to the previous trialed dose if your pet gets moderate side effects and fatigue, also consider remineralizing. If your pet gets serious side effects you should cease all chelation and focus on recovery and remineralization. If the pet has been subject to chelation the loading approach is: Start with a single 10mg to 25 mg dose wait 2 days - write down any reactions the pet has If no reaction go for 10-25mg every 4 hours (4-5 doses) and then wait 2 days - write down any reactions. If no reaction you can essentially start doubling so next time it will be 50mg every 4 hours (4-5 doses) and then wait 2 days You should back track to the previous trialed dose if your pet gets moderate side effects and fatigue, also consider remineralizing. If your pet gets serious side effects you should cease all chelation and focus on recovery and remineralization. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAX DOSE: The Max Total Daily Dose is: 11mg per kg (5mg per lb(pound)) DO NOT EXCEED THIS This max Dose should not be carried out for more than one day in a row and requires a minimum of 3 days in a row. Additionally if your pet is going to such high level you will need to increase mineral, vitamin and body supports. So a 100kg horse will have a max daily accumulated dose of 1100mg See https://miadmsa.com/ for example Question 7: What is the half life of the compound? The compound has a half life of 4hours Question 8: Can miaDMSA be combined with other chelators? Yes but UNDERSTAND how your pet reacts to each individually, and we do not recommend direct concurrent administration - allow a gap Understand this is at your own risk, we don’t know if chelators will have a reaction together and if they negatively influence each other, for example we know at least Selenium reacts negatively with miaDMSA, we don’t know if there’s some hidden negative feedback with each other. Overall the risk versus benefit is skewed to benefit, but that is a decision you must make, no one will make it for you, you need to keep in mind your pet’s health and robustness at all times. miaDMSA with DMSA: Most Evidence - take miaDMSA, follow up with DMSA 6 hours later miaDMSA with OSR: Individual Case reports - take miaDMSA, followup with OSR 4 hours later miaDMSA with DMPS: Theoretically Ok - take miaDMSA, follow up with DMPS 6 hours later miaDMSA with HOPO: Theoretically Ok - take miaDMSA, follow up with HOPO 4 - 6 hours later miaDMSA with EDTA: Never tested - unknown miaDMSA with ALA(AlphaLipoic Acid): Theoretically Ok - take ALA, follow up with miaDMSA 2 - 3 hours later Question 9: What to expect with miaDMSA chelation? miaDMSA follows the chelation-inflammation-repair cycles like all chelators do. The pet will experience classic chelation symptoms meaning expect your present heavy metal symptoms might flare up for a while and calm done. If Remineralization and breaks are done correctly your pet will not experience the effect of overchelating with miaDMSA, miaDMSA will pull out Essential Minerals with Toxic Minerals so you need to be on point with your pet’s body support or mineralization We are still compiling a list of the most common reactions. The steps to take if these occur are suggestive and palliative steps are out of scope of this FAQ as are too complex ● Exhaustion and sense of needing to breathe more - stop - evaluate/support Heme pathways ● Anxiety, Stress and Jitters - caution - evaluate/support Adrenals and Liver ● Cold Hands or Feet - caution - evaluate/support Heme pathways ● Sugar Cravings - caution - support blood sugar metabolism ● Foamy Urine - stop - evaluate eGFR ● Bone Pain - caution - evaluate bone mienralization and also immune system ● Tingling, Burning or Itching - caution - respond to immune reactions ● Muscle Cramps - caution - Check electrolytes ● Head Pressure - caution - Check for blood coagulation and also check electrolytes, Liver For further information please consult these groups: https://www.facebook.com/groups/miadmsa/learning_content https://www.facebook.com/groups/safeheavymetaldetox/ Question 10: How do I store the compound? And how long does it last? The compound is quite stable you expect a shelf life of at least 2 years (retaining at least 90% of previous strength), if stored correctly and refrigerated. The ideal storage is sealed away from air and moisture. Practically speaking storage in a fridge (2-8*C) for longterm storage, or cabinet for short term use, always re-sealed after using it. Question 11: Can I use it when my pet still has metal in its mouth or ongoing exposure? No, it is risk, we don’t know exactly but DMSA the closest equivalent is not be taken with amalgams, one can extrapolate the same concerns and risks to miaDMSA. The risk is redistribution of metals. Question 12: But OSR is safer, why use miaDMSA? OSR also known as NBMI CAS 351994-94-0 can clamp on to heavy metals practically permanently therefore has reduced redistribution risk than a D-type chelator, however chelators can have different reactions on people, while a good majority tolerate OSR/NBMI well, there is a percentage who don’t. The key is the elimination pathway. NBMI bound to heavy metals takes a long time to be eliminated through the liver pathway, whereas miaDMSA is rapidly excreted through renal pathway. Secondarily OSR has a safer response to essential minerals and more selective to heavy metals. These statements are to be taken with a grain of salt, exhaustive testing has never been done to compare these and explanation follows the author’s experiences/biases. This comparison is out of scope of this FAQ. Question 13: How long does it take for the compound to chelate my pet poisoned with mercury? Chelation Success and Speed depends on 3 factors: (A) the duration of exposure, chronic exposures take the longest, recent exposures the shortest, including use of other chelators (B) The Age, Genetics and Parasites/Infections your pet has right now (C) Any supplemental, lifestyle support and peptide/energetic interventions your pet has. More aggressive interventions usually result in a faster detox process. It can take a few months to a few years to clear Heavy Metals from your pet using this compound. Question 14: What can I do to help speed the process and heal the damage from Mercury for my pet? The compound itself won’t heal your pet, it will just pull Heavy Metals and ROS, leaving the job up to your pet’s body to repair. (A) Support your pet’s Digestive System, Adrenals and Liver as a first step (B) Protect your pet’s Nerves from Mercury ROS damage (C) Optimize your pet’s Mitochondria and boost it’s metabolism to help repair things faster Question 15: Can you help my pet with detox and symptoms management? Like Brain fog, Poor Focus, GI issues, Sleep, Feeling bad all the time, Energy, better immunity and Feeling anxious all the time. Message me for coaching help.
