Phishing sites can steal your funds Frequently Asked Questions : 1. Where can I buy CVX? CVX is a ERC - 20 token on the Ethereum network. It can be purchased on both centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX) exchanges. Visit Coingecko for a current list: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/convex - finance#markets A popular wallet to use with DEFI is Metamask: https:// metamask.io / Frequently Asked Questions : 2. When are Votium rounds? Votium rounds are live when the Convex gauge vote proposals are live, bi - weekly, on Thursday 00:00 UTC until Tuesday 00:00 UTC. You can delegate to Votium to vote for you or vote manually in that time window Frequently Asked Questions : 3. Do I have to delegate to Votium in order to receive incentives? No. You can vote yourself for any incentive you'd like, whether delegated or not. If you choose to delegate to Votium, they will vote for you. Votium will try to vote optimally for delegators, so that they would receive the best possible return for their votes. 5% of Votium's delegation power will be used to vote for the cvxCRV pool If Votium votes for you, it will result in multiple tokens to claim. This can be cost prohibitive for smaller accounts due to gas costs. This is something to consider when deciding between voting manually vs letting Votium vote for you Frequently Asked Questions : 4. Can I vote myself if I'm delegated? Yes. Voting on a proposal will temporarily prohibit delegation for said proposal. You are still delegated to Votium for all other and future proposals. You will receive the incentive of the pools you voted for (if there are incentives deposited for them through Votium) Why should I delegate to Votium if I plan to vote manually? You do not have to, but it is a nice safety net in case you forget to vote one week. You will still use Votium to claim your bribes even if you vote manually Frequently Asked Questions : 5. How often do I have to delegate? Once . Your delegation is registered even if you lock more CVX, unlock CVX, sell it, buy more, etc. You only need to delegate again if you choose to remove your delegation through the Snapshot site Frequently Asked Questions : 6. When do I have to lock/delegate my CVX in order to be eligible for the incentives? Gauge weight votes are bi - weekly, starting Thursdays at 00:00 UTC and ending on Tuesdays 00:00 UTC. To be eligible for the incentive will you will have to lock before the proposal starts. For Votium to vote for you you will have to delegate before the proposal starts If you locked before the proposal starts, but didn’t delegate, you can still vote manually Frequently Asked Questions : 7. Where can I see the incentives for the next proposal? Buyers can only deposit incentives when a proposal starts. The current incentives for a proposal will show up on the Votium .app website Website à https://votium.app/ It may take hours/days for bribes to start to roll in. If you don’t see any posted, check back later Frequently Asked Questions : 8. When are the bribes/rewards paid out? Incentives will be distributed within 24h - 48h (sometimes sooner) from the proposal's end, and are given to whoever delegated to Votium/voted for incentivized pools on snapshot Be careful to only vote for incentivized pools if you want bribes. This is a common mistake. Incentivized pools are the ones listed on Votium Frequently Asked Questions : 9. Do I have to claim my bribe immediately? No. After the incentives are airdropped, they are yours to claim whenever. You can wait for rewards to stack in order to pay less gas when claiming. This also applies between lock periods Frequently Asked Questions : 10. What extra incentives am I eligible for when locking my CVX? 1. Extra incentives from Votium - These incentives are rewarded to vlCVX holders who delegate to Votium or vote for a pool on snapshot manually to receive their chosen incentive. These rewards are claimable from the Votium site. Please see this guide to get started: https://docs.votium.app/explainers/quickstart - guide 2. Extra incentives from bribe.crv.finance - These incentives are shared between all vlCVX holders equally, and it doesn't depend on your vote/delegation. These rewards are claimable from the Convex website Frequently Asked Questions : 11. What is “Address Forwarding”? • Address Forwarding is a feature that allows you to forward future Votium rewards to be claimed by a different address. • To use this feature, locate the "Address Forwarding" button at the bottom of the claim page • All changes to address registrations have a one round waiting period before taking effect. When canceling an active registration, you will not be able to register a new forwarding address until the following round, meaning there will be one round with no forwarding • Forwarding is transitive. • If a group of transitively forwarded addresses form a loop, the latest address registry that causes the loop will be ignored. Example: A - >B - >C - >B will not all forward to B, but will instead end at C Frequently Asked Questions : 12. What are the uses of “Address Forwarding”? TLDR, this allows another address to claim the bribe rewards associated with your vlCVX Possible Uses: • Aggregate rewards if you have locked CVX on multiple wallets onto 1 address to reduce gas claims • Tax implications (this new address will have no association to original address à see your local tax laws) • The Union – newly launched project that enables people to forward their rewards to the project team, who will claim & swap the users bribes for CVXCRV and airdrop that to users. This will help reduce gas costs, especially for smaller accounts. An auto - compounder is also planned • https:// llama.airforce /#/union/member Frequently Asked Questions : 13. What is the Votium Delegation address? 0xde1E6A7ED0ad3F61D531a8a78E83CcDdbd6E0c49 Frequently Asked Questions : 14. What happens at the end of the 16 - week lock? You will be free to withdraw your tokens. To continue to accrue bribes and keep voting power, you will have to relock. This does cost a gas fee. Only a 16 - week lock option exists currently. Make sure to to withdraw or re - lock your tokens because a penalty starts after 4 weeks (see below) Frequently Asked Questions: 15. What happens if I lock multiple batches of tokens? Each batch of tokens you lock will have its own lock period. Your voting power will be cumulative of all actively locked tokens
