QGC Pty Limited has contracted the day-to- day operations and management of the camp to BGIS Facility Services Pty Ltd, referred throughout as ‘Camp Management’. The House Rules is intended to provide for the comfort and convenience of all residents of the camp. All residents accommodated within the camp are required to observe and comply with the House Rules, and to respect the privacy and rights of other residents within the camp. Any persons who breach the House Rules may have their accommodation revoked. The House Rules may be amended from time to time. Camp Management retains the right to move residents to alternative rooms or revoke accommodation at their discretion. The House Rules applies to all that reside, work in, or visit the camp. Failure to follow any of the behaviours detailed in the House Rules, could result in revoking of accommodation, and possible disciplinary action. Prohibited Items Firearms or other weapons of any type Naked flames or burning items, candles and incense in accommodation rooms No fan forced, bar heaters or oil heaters in accommodation rooms Cooking equipment in accommodation rooms Possession or use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited No Alcohol is to be brought into camps. All alcohol to be purchased through the camp tavern Important Notice: Possession of any prohibited items listed above may result in disciplinary action including revocation of your accommodation. This policy is strictly enforced to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents/guests. Bookings All bookings must be approved by the QGC Pty Limited. Bookings, and booking amendments, are required to be made within 48 hours’ notice. Unauthorised persons are not permitted to stay in the Camp. Sharing accommodation with an unauthorised person(s) is prohibited. Checking In Check in at the Camp Reception is 2pm, however if your room is ready, you may be permitted an earlier check in. All incoming residents must read and agree to the House Rules and sign the acknowledgement. If arriving outside of reception hours, please contact the Site Manager, number is located at the Camp Reception front entrance. 5 QGC Camps: House Rules Departures Residents must check out no later than 10.00am on day of departure. Residents are required to return their key to the Camp Reception and sign out on the camp departure sheet provided. If the Camp Reception is unattended, please leave key in the letterbox located outside reception and sign out on the camp departure sheet provided. Shower and toilet facilities are available in the locker room for residents working past check out time prior to travel. Please see Camp Reception for directions and towels. Temporary departures, (standard 2 days) residents must return key to reception and complete temporary departure register. Room is on hold (not serviced) until resident checks back in. Reception Opening hours Woleebee Creek 05:30 – 19:30 Charlie 05:30 – 19:30 Ruby Jo 05:30 – 19:30 Lockers, Keys, and Room Security Failure to return a room key may result in a charge of $30.00 (to the resident) for the key to be replaced. Lost or misplaced keys are to be reported immediately to Camp Reception. Casual residents are required to remove all personal belongings from their room upon departure. If any personal belongings are left in the room, Camp Management will contact the occupant for authorisation to remove these items. Camp Management and QGC accept no responsibility for the security, loss or damage of any items. QGC and Camp Management accept no responsibility for the theft, loss or damage of any property belonging to residents. Valuables and money should not be left unattended in rooms, and residents are encouraged to ensure rooms are always locked. Residents must report incidents of theft or damage to Reception immediately for investigation. Lost & Found items will be tagged and stored for a maximum of 3 months, and then disposed of appropriately. Locker facilities are provided for your convenience. Locker keys are available at Reception. Keys must be returned to Reception upon departure. Lost locker keys may result in a $20 replacement fee. 6 QGC Camps: House Rules Behaviour Our reputation depends on how we live up to our core values, Honesty, Integrity & Respect for our People. All residents occupying the Camp are expected to behave in a manner that is appropriate, respectful, and mindful. Behaviour constituting harassment, intimidation or vilification may result in revocation of accommodation. Anti-social behaviour is not tolerated (e.g. vandalism, discrimination, verbal or physical abuse, excessive noise, or illegal activities). Persons failing to identify themselves or their room numbers when asked by the camp management may have their accommodation revoked. Assistance Animal in the Workplace At times there may be an Assistance animal in the camp. Please follow these simple interaction guidelines. Do not offer food to the assistance animal. Do not touch the assistance animal without asking for and receiving permission. Don’t be offended if the handler declines. When you meet a person with an assistance animal, please remember that the animal is working. Don’t do anything to interrupt the assistance animal while it is performing its tasks. Do not stare at the animal. Assistance Animals are allowed in all areas of the camp (including dining room - apart from food service/preparation areas). COVID-19 Camp operations will be governed by Queensland Government Guidelines & Shell Health recommendations and best practice. Accommodation Camp Management allocate rooms and may not be changed without permission. Report any damage immediately to Camp Reception. Rooms are equipped with the following items: One (1) bed complete with mattress, mattress protector (1) sheets (2), blanket (1), bed cover (1), pillows, pillowcases and pillowcase protector (2) One (1) Wall mounted air conditioner with one (1) remote control) One (1) Wall mounted reading light One (1) Desk and chair One (1) Wardrobe with rail and shelving and six (6) Coat Hangers One (1) Waste bin One (1) Mirror and vanity One (1) Towel rail One (1) Fridge (water, jug, and cup) One (1) TV (with remote control) One (1) Kettle and Mug 7 QGC Camps: House Rules One (1) Torch One (1) Smoke detector Rooms are inspected on departure; the resident may be required to pay for any unreported damaged or missing items. No fittings or fixtures are to be removed, damaged, or inhibited in any way, including smoke detectors. Cooking is not permitted in accommodation rooms (Inclusive of microwaves). Rubbish is to be placed in waste receptacles provided. Camp Management encourage residents to participate in the recycling program and use the recycling stations provided. Adhere to the “DO NOT FLUSH” list that is detailed above each toilet Rooms are for single use only. Sharing a room with any person may result in accommodation privileges being revoked. It is a requirement that your room is kept clean, tidy and hygienic at all times. This allows housekeeping to safely service the room. Example - ensure there are no hanging cords or personal belongings creating potential trip hazards. Rooms deemed unsafe will forfeit all cleaning services until rectified. If your room is accessed for maintenance or housekeeping, a notice will be placed in your room. Personal effects on the veranda or immediately outside your room cannot restrict access to safety equipment. In the event of a storm, the occupant is responsible for managing the risk of loose items that could cause damage or injury. If you prefer your room is not serviced, please display the ‘no service required’ magnet available at Reception. Night Shift signs are available from Reception. Please display on the exterior of your door if applicable. Night shift rooms will be serviced in accordance with the housekeeping schedule at an alternate time not to disturb the resident. Maintenance Electronic : Maintenance QR Codes are in place in public areas within the camp. Manual : Maintenance request forms are available at Reception. Camp Management aims to rectify maintenance issues within a reasonable timeframe. Should maintenance issues not be rectified, please contact Reception for further advice. Feedback – QR Codes Camp Management welcomes and appreciates feedback from residents. Constructive feedback enables Camp Management to continually improve the services and address any potential concerns in a timely manner. QR codes are in rooms and common areas. Please ensure your name and room number is recorded on the form, so that management can respond to your requests and comment directly. If you are unsatisfied with the response from your feedback, please contact the Site Manager for further discussion. 8 QGC Camps: House Rules Room Servicing On the 3rd or 4th day of your stay, housekeeping will check consumables, remove rubbish, change towels and a general light clean. (Linen is not changed on this service). On the 7th or 8th day of your stay, housekeeping replaces sheets, pillowslips and towels with a full room clean. On the 11th or 12th day of your stay, housekeeping will check consumables, remove rubbish, change towels and a general light clean. (Linen is not changed on this service). Sharps disposal bins can be collected from the Nurse on site if required. Intoxicated persons are not permitted to enter the dining room. All residents entering the dining room must be clean and reasonably dressed. (i.e. no exposed arm pits). No soiled clothing in this area, no dirty work boots, singlets, or muscle shirts. Footwear must be worn at all times. No crockery, cutlery or other dining equipment is to be removed from the dining room. Hot food is NOT to be taken out of the Dining Room. Cribbing from the hot service counter is not permitted. Eskies, backpacks & work bags are not permitted in the dining room. Washing of hands is mandatory when entering the dining room. Laundry Laundry facilities and washing powder is provided. Residents are responsible for their own personal laundry. Report any difficulties or faults with use of laundry equipment submit a QR Code or report to Reception. It is not permitted to hang washing, clothes, or towels on the railings outside your room. Retail Operating Hours Basic essential items will be available from Reception during normal business hours. Daily: 5.30am – 7.15pm 9 QGC Camps: House Rules Vehicles Residents to follow Traffic Management Plan within camp. All authorised vehicles must be parked in the designated vehicle parking, obeying all parking signage. Reverse Park only. Parking behind the kitchen is restricted, according to signage – overnight only. o No parking behind Woleebee kitchen. o Light vehicles only behind the Ruby Jo kitchen. Private vehicles are not permitted within camp boundary. o exception Woleebee Creek/Charlie in designated parking bays, with FM approval. Repairs and servicing of vehicles is not permitted on camp property without prior authorisation. QGC and Camp Management will not be responsible for any damage or theft to private vehicles. Display of Material in Camp Rooms No pornographic or obscene material (including sexually graphic, sexist or racially offensive material in any form) may be displayed or affixed to camp walls. The Site Manager has complete discretion to remove any material considered to be offensive. Smoking / Vaping / E-Cigarettes Smoking/Vaping is only permitted in designated outside smoking areas, (DOSA). Smoking/Vaping in rooms or directly outside rooms & all public enclosed spaces is prohibited. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the ashtrays provided in the designated outside smoking/vaping areas. Smoking / Vaping in rooms is a serious fire safety hazard and may result in accommodation being revoked. Tavern Camp management promotes responsible consumption and service of alcohol in the Tavern during opening hours. Alcohol to be consumed is limited to 6 standard drinks within 24 hours, including functions /events, Tavern and takeaway sales. Takeaway is available from the Tavern up to 8.00pm. No BYO alcohol permitted within the Camp. Tavern will have a mandatory half hour closure in the evening to allow for dinner consumption. Tavern operating hours are displayed on the main Tavern doors. Indicative Tavern hours of operation are: Woleebee Creek Afternoon: 17:00 – 19:00 Evening: 19:30 – 21:00 Charlie Afternoon: 17:00 – 19:00 Evening: 19:30 – 21:00 Ruby Jo Afternoon: 17:00 – 19:00 Evening: 19:30 – 21:00 Self-test Breathalyzer stations are located throughout the camp. 10 QGC Camps: House Rules Fire and Emergency Procedures During the camp induction, camp layout, location of alarms, muster points and procedures will be outlined. All rooms are fitted with smoke detectors. Under no circumstances are the batteries to be removed or the detectors otherwise inhibited. When the batteries are going flat, the detectors emit short beeps at regular intervals – please contact Reception immediately. Firefighting equipment is positioned throughout the camp. All residents should familiarise themselves with the location of the firefighting equipment closest to their room. Any person interfering with or irresponsibly discharging firefighting equipment, and or safety devices may have their accommodation revoked. A total Fire ban is enforced on camp property, except for the fire pit. o Operating the Fire Pit – all requests must be approved by BGIS & Fire Team o All procedures pertaining to the Fire Pit must be adhered to An evacuation plan and emergency contacts are displayed in accommodation rooms. Environment No pets or wildlife may be kept as pets on camp property. Please do not feed wildlife. Report injured wildlife to QGC Fauna Hotline 0408 890 835, if unavailable please contact Chinchilla Vet on 07 4662 7637 or after hours 0439 736 067. Please report any environmental spills or damage to your supervisor or Reception. Please report all snake sightings immediately to Reception. Plants are not to be brought to site without prior approval from site HSE. General Political or union meetings are not to be conducted within the camp without authorisation and adhering to legislative requirements (i.e., entry permits). All Camp amenities provided are for the use, benefit, and comfort of each resident. It is each resident’s responsibility to use and treat such amenities with the respect. Residents are reminded, excessive noise is not permitted after 9.00pm. All residents are to use designated pathways and crossings. Upon arrival, all contractor visitors must report and sign in at Reception. No fittings or fixtures can be installed to the interior or exterior of camp accommodation, buildings or structures – without prior approval from QGC Real Estate Residents are encouraged to participate in the waste segregation program on site The use of personal drones at or over any QGC Shell site is strictly prohibited without authorisation from Shell Aviation and local authorities 11 QGC Camps: House Rules Security CCTV operates and monitors in and around QGC Camp facilities. Medical Centre Persons with suspected contagious or infectious disease must notify the onsite Nurse to ensure a management plan is in place for the protection of all residents. All Activities, Gym / Fitness Centre Residents wishing to utilise the gym and facilities will be required to complete a gym induction. The use of the facilities and participating in sporting activities is voluntary and conditional upon compliance with the Assumption of Risk - Sporting Facilities and Activities Form (Appendix B) The fitness centre is available for use 24/7, please contact the Health and Lifestyle Coordinator (HLC) and request a gym induction. QGC and Camp Management will not be held responsible for the misuse of equipment or participation in lifestyle events /activities that may result in injury. Please report any equipment damages or maintenance issues using the QR Code. Sport shoes must be worn on all sporting facilities. No boots; no thongs; no bare feet. No glass in these areas. No alcohol in these areas. All borrowed equipment is to be returned to the Gym after use. Recreation /Music Room Recreation Room facility is for the use of all residents’, ensuring areas are kept clean. Keep all noise to a minimum after 9.00pm. I have read and understood the House Rules. This practice is a common courtesy to other gym patrons and a mandatory personal health hygiene requirement. I recognise that exercise may be difficult and strenuous and that there are dangers inherent in exercise for some individuals. I acknowledge that the possibility of certain health related problems, both usual and unusual, may occur, including rapid and/or irregular heartbeat; heart attack; and, in rare instances death. I fully understand these risks and assume all risks related to participation in gym use and group classes, activities or events throughout the village. I understand that as a result of my participation in an exercise event or group activity, I could suffer an injury or physical disorder that could result in my becoming partially or totally disabled and incapable of performing any gainful employment or having a normal social life, or even death. I recognize that an examination by a physician should be obtained by ALL participants prior to involvement in any exercise event or group activity. I understand the event or group activity coordinator(s) are not medical professionals and I will not rely upon any statement from them as medical advice. If I have chosen not to obtain a physician’s directions/permission prior to beginning this exercise, or do not consult with a physician on a regular basis, I hereby agree that I am doing so at my own risk. 13 QGC Camps: House Rules I will immediately advise the event or group activity coordinator(s) of any unsafe condition that I observe. I agree to wear appropriate clothing, footwear, PPE and follow correct use of equipment, as established by industry standards and common safety practices during all workouts and sporting activities. In any event, I acknowledge and agree that I assume the risks associated with any, and all activities and/or exercises in which I participate. I acknowledge that I have thoroughly read this waiver and release, and I fully understand that is a release of lability and assumption of risk. By signing this document, I am voluntarily waiving any, and all, claims against BGIS, QGC, Gym Employees, or Gym Contractors at any scheduled or unscheduled activity.
