I haven't used it yet and will probably stretch it to make it a little longer, but I am pleased with the purchase. ● The variety wasn’t at all what it looked like in the pictures. Barely got any of the fruit or the colors that I was hoping for, and the letters were very random and repetitive. I am super bummed! ● The loom works great. The only issue that I have had is with the metal pegs on one of the rollers. They all pop out. Almost lost my first project part way through when the peg I had it attached to pulled out. A little epoxy and the issue is solved. It is a nice size loom and works great after fixing the peg issue. If you buy this, I would suggest tugging on the pegs a little before starting to be sure that they will stay firmly in. When I was researching this type of loom, this peg problem appeared to be a problem with pretty much all of them. It didn't matter what brand or what size. ● For "Durability" I can't speak to that after only using once. It seems fairly durable I can't really see where it would breakdown any one part over the other. I priced these everywhere I could and always came back to this one. I got this because my arthritic fingers don't hold on so good. It was way easier to warp than another smaller loom that I have- not slipping off the slots at all on me. Will definitely use this over my other smaller loom for the ease of it. ● This was my first attempt at using a loom. The instructions to setup the loom itself were clear. The directions on how to start weaving were pretty good. I watched some YouTube videos, so I felt confident in weaving. My 1st piece of advice is to throw out the beads that come with the loom. They were horrible. At least 25% of the beads were too small for the needle & thread make the second pass-through. I went to my local bead store & bought #8 seed beads, & they worked well. However, when I went to take the "finished" piece off the loom, there were no directionsI SURPRISE! Not one word on how to remove your piece from the loom. When I get a chance I'll have to check out YouTube. It would also be helpful if they showed you how to put a clasp on your finished work. My piece will -- hopefully -- be a bracelet, if I can figure out a way to add a clasp. If the directions were better, I would have given the loom 5 stars. ● Overall loved this loom. The quality is good, and easy to use. Only problem I had with it is the instructions are not very easy to understand. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and found them much more helpful. The loom accommodates up to about 65 beads wide and can be as long as you want. I have never used a bead loom before and so far I have made a bracelet and very impressed with how quick and easy it was to make! (02) Mardi Gras Spot 6D336COL 33 Inch 07mm Round Metallic 6 Color Mardi Gras Beads - 6 Dozen (72 Necklaces) ● So colorful! I hung these on my back fence and they make me smile when I look out the window. My neighbor is not very pleased which was my main intent anyway. Looks like NOLA in my yard. The bead size is large and they are packaged in such a way that they are not tangled and come off very easily. Hope they last through our winters here in northern IL and do not fade. ● Bought these for Christmas for my severely autistic, non verbal 10 yo grandson. He keeps them in a lunch bag, and always has one set of beads with him. They are so sturdy. He hasn't been able to unstring them. If he ever runs out, I would definitely reorder. ● An organization I belong to throws these beads out to the kids at our local Fair Parade. The kids love them! The way these are packaged, it's very easy to separate them when it's time to throw them. They aren't all tangled together because each dozen beads has a cardboard piece holding them together. We ordered 72 dozen of them and only 2 necklaces were broken upon receipt. I'd say that's pretty good! ● Bought these for when I went to Mardi Gras and the colors and size of them were great. There were other less expensive options out there, but they look of these along with the fact that they were easy to throw made these a great buy. Easily lasted two nights worth of throwing beads. (03) Clover 9910 Beading Loom ● I loved this loom. I was able to get good tension and the continuous warp makes for beautiful finished pieces. It’s durable but it did not survive my husband throwing it at me from across the room. So as long as your husband won’t do that, this is a great loom. ● After struggling with my inexpensive metal loom, a real headache to warp up, this loom was an unbelievable find! I make primarly wide, delica bead bracelets so being that this loom has two different groove sizes for two different beads was the best part for me. My last loom only had one size which was way to wide for delicas. This loom really keeps a good tension and the threads stay in the grooves. So easy to warp! I went to the youtube instructions for warping as I found the printed instructions weren't great, at least for me. I highly recommend this product. ● Setting up and beading on this loom is absolutely fantastic. The product is sturdy and precise. Where the loom falls short (and this is a very big drawback), is in finishing the product. In order for me to make a bracelet on any loom, I need to either weave the warp threads back through or braid them together at the end and create a slip knot. The size of this loom allows me to do NEITHER - it leaves warp threads painfully short on the longest setting. I dread finishing my product after using this loom. It’s so disappointing, too, as it seems the product is perfect in every other way. It needs 2-3” more adjustment.... ● Best loom on the market. I have tried the Jewel loom, which isn't bad, but wobbly and unsteady; the Beadalon loom, good for size 8/0 but very flimsy, Rick's loom, which was too confusing to set up & use; and even the Mirrix that costs $235.00 loom, which I sent back because it was just too much work, However, the Clover loom is the perfect size and the ability to adjust the size is really great. It sits nicely on my desk and doesn't move all over the place. I watched the You Tube video how to set it up and it was soooo easy. By far, my favorite loom. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this loom. I also bought the book with patterns which I think is worth buying ● So yes, I had to buy a second loom after my first cracked in half while I was tightening the warp threads. The thing is, I use my loom almost daily for my Etsy shop and pull the threads very very tight, so it was bound to happen eventually. The ability of this loom to not only change length, but also do both Delica and round makes it my favorite loom to use. The only reason I would consider buying a different loom is if I found a similar style wooden one for the same price, otherwise I am likely to keep buying this loom. ● I have tried several different types of bead looms. Cheap ones and even Ricks Bead Loom and the Clover Loom is by far the best. It’s thoughtful design and durable materials really makes it so much easier to use. While using other looms I would have to have my husband lend a hand on set up and it involved a lot of cursing. But it takes me minutes to cast on my warp threads. ● Easy to set up and the weaving looks good on the loom. The problem occurs when trying to pull the warp threads to leave two ends, more practice needed. The other slight problem was something was missing from the package and Clover was not interested when informed. The teeth can break. (04) The Beadsmith Rick's Beading Loom ● I really wanted to love this loom because it leaves less threads that you have to weave back into your work, however I have not been able to get the hang of using it. I even went to the creators website and watched all the videos plus videos from other jewelry artists, followed as many of the tips and tricks as possible and my ends still look sloppy and unfinished. You have to really push the last row on which is really hard because you are working right up against the rods that hold the beadwork in place. I consistently have more space between my beads than I should have. I have ripped apart a few bracelets and restarted. I ordered another type of loom because I was so frustrated and I plan to sell my Ricks bead loom. Also was not fully assembled...I had to put this together and the instructions were hard to understand. ● Love this loomYou can make as short or as long of any beading project. I did a quick bracelet to review and it only took a little under an hour to finish. I also have smaller beading loom, which to me takes way more time to finish projects and only goes up to 5 1/2 in length. So if you were looking to do more with a loom, this will be your best option. It's a little on the pricey side, but worth it. ● With this loom called Ricks, it takes a little practice winding the thread on the loom, and getting started. It is different then a standard loom. But well worth it. Not so many strings to deal with. This is my second one. I have more then one project going at a time. Once you acomplish this, you can do some mighty fine projects. ● I'm very happy with this loom. Although it isn't as long as I would like, from videos on YouTube it looks easy enough to attach pieces together. It is So much less hassle to finish off with only two threads to worry about! Incidentally I wasn't very impressed that it arrived just in its own box with no padding...thankfully it wasn't damaged at all but for such an expensive item I thought that was careless! (05) Cousin DIY 39999919 Weaving Kit Loom ● My daughter and I ran across this set when looking for a loom and couldn’t believe how low the cost was for what you get. I figured it probably wasn’t the highest quality, but decided if even a few items could be used it wasn’t a bad buy. It arrived today and it’s actually a pretty amazing deal. The loom seems sturdy enough to use, you get a bunch of jewelry hooks/earrings/clasps, plus wire and needles for beading, a large sizing tray, pliers and a lot of different beads in different sizes/colors (including Czech and glass beads). The bead containers look pretty old, so maybe it’s a “getting rid of old stock” deal? Either way, my daughter is super excited about everything she got with the kit and I’m super excited that I didn’t spend an arm and a leg. ● My daughter and I ran across this set when looking for a loom and couldn’t believe how low the cost was for what you get. The colors are beautiful and they made me want to immediately create a project. About half way through a small project I realized that there wouldn't be enough of my main color of beads to finish the pattern I'd established. I was not able to finish the project due to this problem. ● The loom is easy to string and I like all the items that came with it. It will work great with the bigger beads 8/0 and up, in my opinion it is not good for the smaller beads like the 11/0 seed beads, the thread is spaced to far apart, you would have to do at least 2 or more of the 11/0 beads per row. Other then that, I really like it. ● Great selection of beads for the price. Very pleased with the quality of the loom. However, the included needles are too big for most of the beads we received. My daughter was very excited to start beading, but now she has to wait for the arrival of smaller beading needles. We are super disappointed that she can’t use the kit immediately. ● For a beginner like me this set is nice. It's tricky setting up but I attribute that to my newness. Did receive two of the same types of beads but that's not a deal breaker for me ● Viene perfectamente cerrado y todo lo prometido, 24 estuches con diferentes medidas y tipos de arbolorios, los instrumentos para medir y el telar para hacer pulseras. .................................................................................................................................................. ....................
